This is a boutique hotel directly on Carbon Beach in Malibu. It was not as I expected. The building is quite ugly and has some refurbish to do. It is very expensive a queen bed not even too big 600 € daily (reservation made with Booking.com! I don’t want imagine how much directly with the hotel!) is facing the sea that’s ok but not worth the expense! I only had one breakfast because it is expensive and not so good! We liked much more the Malibu Farm Café in the Pier just a few meters from the hotel it’s not cheap but the food is good. The gym is not inside the hotel but in front of it you have to cross the Pacific Coast Highway. For such a price they might even have a fitness club! Parking is expensive too 35 $ daily. Positive points: Staff is all polite and helpful. No noise apart from the sea waves. Location of course is beautiful directly on the beach I think this is the only reason that I can explain the overpriced. Maybe you can find something more affordable!

I really loved my stay at Malibu Beach Inn. Their service was top notch. The view from your balcony or from the restaurant is just gorgeous 'Malibu'! The good at the restaurant was great and the staff will go out of their way to make your stay fabulous. The beach and beach chairs along with beachside cocktails was awesome! The room was modern and I loved sleeping with the sliding door open while having the fire going. Everything was superb!

Malibu Beach Inn is a fantastic hotel with excellent service, they soon remember your name and all the little things you like. The restaurant is so good we cancelled our other reservations and stayed in house , the views are simply stunning but so is the food which sometimes isn’t the case when the location is so beautiful. We enjoyed walking on the beach, watching the surfers and the way the staff look after you so well while chilling on the beach. A very relaxing stay , thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

This is such a nice hotel. We had such a great time staying in there. Very cozy and personal treatment to us all, with staff calling us by the name all the time. Room full of amenities and little gifts everyday. Great restaurant in the lobby, just over the sand. Definitively it is the place to stay if you want to have an intimate relationship with the Pacific Ocean.
