Not a very good choice for a pricy lunch except for the view.
I thought that based upon reviews I would take my friends to lunch at this restaurant. Something new and different for a change. I was curious about the lobster roll and looking for a change of scenery. Gorgeous view on the outdoor patio with the waves crashing directly below us. . Service was fine and we thought the food left a lot to be desired. I had the lobster roll which was pretty bland and dry. Probably my mistake for thinking a lobster sandwich would be tasty. We improved it a bit by adding a garlic mayo combination. My friends had a hamburger and a chicken salad. The chicken salad was pitiful for $30. Tiny chopped up chicken, not very tasty either. With that said for $175.00 including everything (It appears they gave us $12 parking) we wouldn't return. Dukes is a much better value. Denis R Winnetka, CA

Incredible Ocean Views
This was our first stay at Malibu Beach Inn. First, our ocean view from our room alone was incredible! We were impressed at how clean, comfortable and up to date our room was. The food at the restaurant was delicious too (the breakfast tacos were great!). The chocolate chip cookies at the valet were a special treat. Everyone was friendly, helpful and willing to make our stay special. We highly recommend Malibu Beach Inn and can’t wait to come back.

Fun and Restful Weekend in Malibu
Hotel is lovely, rooms well appointed, cannot beat the view. Service was wonderful - all of the team very friendly and welcoming. Food and wine at hotel was good and they had really yummy cookies. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of malibu but not in the terribly loud areas. Cheers!

Perfect Location
Location is everything! Perfectly located directly on the sand, on a quiet stretch of beach with beautiful views. Very nice room, friendly and helpful staff and a good restaurant with great views. Perfect staycation!

We spent three nights in at the Malibu Beach Inn - it was difficult to get my husband to leave! Sunrise and sunsets were magnificent! At night we were lulled to sleep by the lapping waves of the Pacific.
