The hotel is really fantastic. We originally had a room with a pier view, which was fine, but magically were upgraded to a oceanview at no extra charge. The view was incredible as was falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. The restaurant on the property is great--I'm not sure if there are better restaurants anywhere nearby. The best part of the place is is the staff. Everyone was so nice. Pauline at the front desk made our trip next level--when I go back I'm letting her decide everything! She sent us to a great hike up the coast, and made perfect suggestions about restaurants. My friend and I felt like movie stars for 2 days and it was a real 5 star trip that we will remember for a long time.

My husband and I decided to do something different this past Thanksgiving so we booked two nights at the Malibu Beach Inn. Although we were a bit surprised at the cost to park our car for two nights, there really is no street parking, we had a lovely visit. Our room faced the ocean and the pier. Our room was a very nice size, fully equipped, quiet, and clean. There was a nice private sitting area outside off our room to watch the sunrise and a large fireplace to keep us cozy at night. We also dined at the restaurant and the breakfast we had was truly memorable. This is a very sweet place with gracious staff and beautiful accommodations. The place isn't inexpensive but we felt it was worth the price and a memory maker for us. We'd definitely recommend it.

This was our last stop before flying back to Melbourne after our six week holiday. Our travel agent thought it would be a nice way to spend the last night and he was so correct. We arrived late in the afternoon and decided to stay and eat in the hotel. Great decision. We had a lovely seafood platter and a bottle of wine sitting on the deck overlooking the beach. Our room was on the second floor and was spacious. The bathroom was very good with a good shower and a large double sink but the highlight was the toilet. Japanese style ie heated seat, open and closing lid and more 😂. The staff were very helpful at every stage of our visit and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel is only 30 minutes to LAX so a great choice rather than an airport hotel.

Gorgeous rooms. Reminds me of a beach version of the Little Nell in Aspen. The staff is great and the hotel has thought of everything to make the room comfortable but with a laid back surfer vibe. Great restaurant and walking distance from Nobu. Fresh cookies and magazines at check in. We'll keep coming back.

I stayed here with my two teenage children last week. It was a one night stay, I wish it had been longer. We splurged on one of the full view rooms, and it did not disappoint. The balcony overlooked the ocean, and the view was spectacular. The beds were extremely comfortable, with nice linens and pillows. My son slept on the pullout and reported that it was very comfortable as well. The room was not huge, but we had enough space. Excellent shower and toiletries. We also had breakfast at the Inn, the food was very very good - which it should have been, as it was expensive. What's not to love about having coffee and an omelet with the Pacific Ocean beside you?
