Stayed at the Malibu Beach Inn when we came to visit my son at a nearby college. Not very many hotels to choose from in close proximity. Malibu Beach Inn was very close but also comes at a high cost. But, it was a wonderful splurge and definitely enjoyed it! We had a very clean room, an outstanding view, steps to the beach, just amazing! It has a little restaurant but we didn't end up eating there because we had kids with us and there wasn't any usual kid friendly fare on the menu. The staff was amazing, knew us by name and we were there only 2 nights. Such a lovely place and beautiful room, would love to stay there again!

Had a great experience, great staff, and a spectacular romantic view. We enjoyed our stroll along the beach and getting sand between our toes with the marvelous breathtaking ocean view. Will most definitely plan another visit in the near future.

This is a boutique hotel directly on Carbon Beach in Malibu. It was not as I expected. The building is quite ugly and has some refurbish to do. It is very expensive a queen bed not even too big 600 € daily (reservation made with! I don’t want imagine how much directly with the hotel!) is facing the sea that’s ok but not worth the expense! I only had one breakfast because it is expensive and not so good! We liked much more the Malibu Farm Café in the Pier just a few meters from the hotel it’s not cheap but the food is good. The gym is not inside the hotel but in front of it you have to cross the Pacific Coast Highway. For such a price they might even have a fitness club! Parking is expensive too 35 $ daily. Positive points: Staff is all polite and helpful. No noise apart from the sea waves. Location of course is beautiful directly on the beach I think this is the only reason that I can explain the overpriced. Maybe you can find something more affordable!

I really loved my stay at Malibu Beach Inn. Their service was top notch. The view from your balcony or from the restaurant is just gorgeous 'Malibu'! The good at the restaurant was great and the staff will go out of their way to make your stay fabulous. The beach and beach chairs along with beachside cocktails was awesome! The room was modern and I loved sleeping with the sliding door open while having the fire going. Everything was superb!
