Gorgeous rooms. Reminds me of a beach version of the Little Nell in Aspen. The staff is great and the hotel has thought of everything to make the room comfortable but with a laid back surfer vibe. Great restaurant and walking distance from Nobu. Fresh cookies and magazines at check in. We'll keep coming back.

I stayed here with my two teenage children last week. It was a one night stay, I wish it had been longer. We splurged on one of the full view rooms, and it did not disappoint. The balcony overlooked the ocean, and the view was spectacular. The beds were extremely comfortable, with nice linens and pillows. My son slept on the pullout and reported that it was very comfortable as well. The room was not huge, but we had enough space. Excellent shower and toiletries. We also had breakfast at the Inn, the food was very very good - which it should have been, as it was expensive. What's not to love about having coffee and an omelet with the Pacific Ocean beside you?

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and can say nothing but good things about are stay. Ensure to book a front facing room (worth the extra money). The restaurant has amazing food and once again the views from it are incredible! The staff throughout the hotel are extremely nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Unfortunately during one of our stays in August our room air-condition broke down. We called reception and who claimed they had fixed it but it once again broke down leading to an uncomfortable night...

Love this hotel, we stayed two nights and the location is amazing! Right on the ocean, fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves! The staff are very friendly, the nightly turn down service is the best I have ever seen! Rooms are spotless and very comfortable, good size too. Restaurant on site overlooks the ocean, with heaters on the patio so you eat outside at night - always seemed to be busy with local guests too for lunch. A short walk to the pier - which was being renovated - but worth a visit - Farm restaurant on the pier well worth it. Malibu Beach Inn - definitely the place to stay in Malibu There was some construction going on when we were there - some inevitable noise associated with that, but didn't diminish our stay at all

After staying at Shutters and Loews many times coming to Malibu Beach Inn is more personal like coming to your own beach villa. I think what's make this hotel so special is of course that you stay right on the beach listing to the waves and it's so small that you connect with the staff. It seems like they really care. The lunch and breakfast was very good and with that view it's this moments that this that makes long lasting memories. The only thing I really was missing was a hot tub. Then there will be no reason to go to Shutters at all. We had 2 rooms, a king facing the pier and a king facing the ocean. The difference was extremly big so we all ended up sitting on the balcony in the ocean room or more hanging over the realing looking facinated at the waves underneat us. Thanks to the team at Malibu and we hope that we can return very soon.
