Probably the best european hotel I have ever been, and I travel a lot. Magilcal place. Every detail is stilysh, high class royal level. Have to go there to feel it. Food incredible, not cheap but woth it. Palma is near if you must go there, but better to spend some spare time in Valldemossa or Deia that are nearby.

A hotel can do all the right things ,add all of the little special touches etc ,but if the staff aren't interested, the hotel will go nowhere. The staff here at every level are brilliant; friendly, efficient ,helpful, professional and give the impression that they are actually happy for you to be there. The hotel itself is magnificent, the modern features have been done in such a way ,that they enhance the historical building ,keeping its original feel but providing all modern comforts. The rooms are massive , light airy and extremely well appointed. Views are fantastic both from the bedrooms, public rooms and just about anywhere else around the hotel. Bar prices are a bit steep but the room service menu is very reasonable for a five star establishment. Breakfast meets every taste with a superb selection of fare. Such a relaxing place to spend some time, love it.

As we were unable to book a room at the hotel as it was full, we stopped off for lunch. The hotel was just as we remembered it from 2 years ago Spectacular location, breathtaking views, friendly & courteous staff. What else could you possibly want?

It does not get better than this! This hotel is perfection from the rooms, the views, the staff (Adrianna, Jose) and everyone else. Best G&T (thanks Jose). It’s is 5 star at its highest. Didn’t want to leave. Do not hesitate to book - you will not be disappointed!

My husband booked this hotel for a short honeymoon after we got married. The setting is stunning and the hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. Our room had a separate entrance with a little private courtyard which was really nice for sitting in outside in the evening and having a few drinks. The room was oldy worldy and quirky with the most comfortable, massive bed! The food was incredible and I would definitely recommend the BBQ night on the outside terrace if you're lucky enough to be staying when it's on. I think the one thing that let this place down was the service at meal times - for a five star hotel I would have expected a bit more attentiveness. We stayed for four nights and three out of four mornings we had to catch the waiters attention to take our breakfast order. We also waited a long time to get drinks while we ate outside for the BBQ night; again having to catch the waiters eye to remind them. The front house were great and the staff who came and replenished the water each evening was a nice touch. The pool area is also really nice but there is a charge to hire a cabana. For the cost of staying at the hotel I would expect that these would be openly available to guests.
