We stayed at the hotel in August and in September so we tried 2 different rooms a suite and a king room, both has a beautiful view of Chrysler building and Empire State Building. In overall was a great hotel, with superb location just 2 blocks away at 41 is the bus station for the airport transfer and everything else is near just a few walk by foot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free storage of luggage after the check out and umbrella in case of rainy days through a deposit amount of $30. The rooms and bathroom are big and have a lot of space. The only recommendation is that the rooms need to be renewed because initially do not smell good and the windows can not be open but is only the first impression after that you get used, and choose the up floor rooms if is possible so you will not hear too much noise that is a problem of every hotel I believe since the nyc is a noisy city. Near the hotel are 2 cleaning services and dont cost too much if you want to wash your clothes. I have been back and i will be back in this hotel if I will come in nyc. The do not offer breakfast but its fine, in 41 block (in 2 min away by walk) is Pret a manger shop that offer very good quality and variety of food. In the first floor of hotel is a night bar which required us just for entrance $15 / person, this was very disappointing!

DO NOT STAY HERE. When I checked in my sheets had holes in them, the mattress pad had blood stains, the bathroom looked like a public restroom, there were stains on the carpet, chipped furniture, and the lamp shades had holes. I did complain to the front desk and they moved me to a different room that was cleaner, but still a far cry from 4 star hotel. It felt more like a highway motel or a 1970s rent by the hour room on Times Square. The fact that this hotel is listed and sold as a 4 start is grossly misleading

It was our first visit to NYC and we'd heard all the rumors of rude people and how expensive everything is. This hotel proved all of those false! We got a really great rate through the Hotel Tonight app. THE SERVICE: The service we received was impeccable. From Andretti at the front door, who was very friendly and professional. He helped us with our car and luggage, and took all of our things up to our room. He was extremely helpful, and even gave us a tip about NYC cabs when he learned it was our first visit. He was very sincerely friendly and really made us feel welcome without being over the top. The young lady that checked us in at the front desk was also very friendly and so helpful, I wish I had gotten her name so I can properly give her my thanks. We had a small issue with our check in when I had tried to do it online and we ended up with only 1 bed for 3 people. After some work on her part, she resolved our issue and again was so sincerely kind that it really blew me away. THE ROOM: The room was HUGE and the beds were comfortable! We had an awesome view of rooftop gardens and the Empire State Building. As others have stated, yes the rooms and decor are outdated, but who cares! It was clean, it was comfortable and roomy, and when I had an issue they resolved it immediately!!! In summary, we are definitely coming back to NYC since 3 days was just not enough. And when we do come back we will be staying at this hotel. To the hotel management, your staff is wonderful and deserve so many kudos! They really exemplify what the service industry is all about. Thank you for such great memories!

The only positive things are the bed which is comfy, the staff which is helpful and the location which is quite central. Everything else is pretty bad...old and outdated furniture, dirty windows, small blinds which let light in all night, old windows which are not soundproof so if you're a light sleeper like me you'll have a rather bad sleep. I paid $225 + tax and it feels like a $70 motel...luckily for me I was only here for 1 night.

I've stayed at the Court several times over the years and enjoy the location, Large rooms and outstanding staff. The hotel is very outdated and some of the rooms could look much better with minimum effort - Old chipped furniture etc. However the staff are amazing. Amira made sure we had a comfortable nice room for our 11 day "girls getaway". She gave helpful recommendations for restaurants and we felt really cared about us having a great experience. Our room was maintained by Eugenia who left it perfect each day with a smile and friendly greeting. Would highly recommend the court rooms which are quiet. No street noise. Also received a kettle which was a nice touch. If you want a great location and don't mind the dated furniture and bathroom, the Court is a good choice.
