Don't let the price tag fool you - this is not a 5 star hotel. Their "airport service" never showed up so we had to order a cab ourselves. Once your at this place you will immediately realize the customer service has a "do-it-yourself" theme. Want a towel for the pool? Go find the guy. Want a drink by the beach? Ask for the menu and they'll never come back... Rooms are musty and outdated - overall has a pre-1999 vibe. Message to management: WAKE UP! By the way, the pool area is infested with flys which will make your experience all the more enjoyable.

We have recently spent 7 nights in this beautiful hotel and enjoyed a true 5*experience.The hotel staff proved to be friendly and helpful at all times, and the hotel was maintained to a very high standard with regard to cleanliness, superb.Hotel bedrooms were immaculate and were of average size ,this being due to the age of the hotel. All rooms from the 4th floor upwards have modern newly fitted bathrooms the remaining rooms on 1-3 floors to be refurbished thie autumn.Strongly recommend a seaview on 5th floor but mountain view rooms are cheaper and the views are quite spectacular.HIGH.quality breakfasts in main restraunt and h/b served in the T-bone restaraunt by the pool, the menu being very much steakhouse, steak, fish and pizza one sleight niggle a lack of vegetables. While on the subject of meals in the don pepe we feel the hotel does not offer a higher end eating experience as with other local 5*hotels.HOPE for our next visit al-carte choice will be extended.

Me and my fiancé were visiting for a few days. I truly like the building, the garden with the pool and its location near the beach. I truly appreciated i could also bring my little pug. People who worked there was nice. I cant take away those points and i really wanted to like this place. However.... we booked a room that smelled really bad, the whole time. Like someone would be smoking there since the hotel was built. My fiancé had a salad with egg at the pool and got a terrible food poison from it that lasted for days. We were also charged fully for 2 breakfasts, while i was going alone. Because my fiance, unfortunately was very sick. Overally, the place is nice but the price x quality arent compatible. You dont want to spend hundreds of euro on bad smelling room neither expensive lunch and get food poison.

We wanted a Hotel on this coast for a long weekend to celebrate a special occasion. To cut a long story short, I looked at a few of the hotels along the coast & decided to book the Don Pepe based on the good time we had previously. Other reviews concentrate on the main parts of the hotel but I will concentrate on the Red Level area. This is quite a pricey extra service luxury & as it was a special occasion, I decided to book it. If anyone has reservations about this, don't worry, for us, it was worth the extra money & made our visit even more special. Red Level has it's on check in on the ground floor ( It's actually the 1st floor though ) there is a spacious lounge for guests which is open for a large portion of the day, part of the lounge overlooks the lush gardens & the other half has the great snacks & a tv area. Food offered here is very high quality, from the Jamon, to the cheese, fruit & other nibble type food. Drinks wise there is a Nespresso machine, Cava, a variety of lagers, wine, chilled water & fruit juice. Not to mention the most amazing mini chocolate desserts!! The Red level girls were all very friendly & welcoming & helpful with any enquiries you have. I don't think we were very demanding of them but i did hear them offer suggestions on trips to make & restaurants in the area to try. We did try the T-Bone steakhouse which was OK & Spa is very good & not too busy. As a suggestion, chilled water should be available for users of this facility All in all, a very luxurious hotel with great facilities & staff. Irene who checked us in was very helpful & welcoming. We will be back!!
