We discovered Don Pepe in februari this year and have ended up coming back two more times after that. It is perfect for families, couples, friends and I would not hesitate to go here by myself. The service is AMAZING, staff is so friendly, everyone feels so warm yet professional. My 3 kids all love the kids club and the team there are so down to earth. Big up to Claudia and the 2 Cristinas who are all superheroes in my daughters eyes ♥️ The staff at the restaurant are so very service minded and everything from the flowers from the experience team, check-in receptionists, poolguys to the impeccable cleaning and service by housekeeping is close to perfection. The food in Erre is incredible and the breakfast has so many choices, both sweet, savory and healthy. I do not have anything negative at all to say about this hotel other than that I am so sad it will be closed for renovation for bigger rooms, even though I know the next visit will be even more memorable. And.. the view. Ah, the view 👌🏽 Overall - this hotel is one of the main reasons I tend to always end up at a Meliá. Until next time 🌟

Another fantastic stay at this iconic location. The attention to detail & care displayed by the staff is incredible. The poolside team deserve special mention and also a call out to Andrea. It was heartwarming to observe her attend to a difficult situation with tact and assertion. Abel deserves recognition as an ambassador for the company in all respects, Will be back.

Fabulous location. We understand the hotel will be undergoing a remodel this fall. The rooms(4) we were in were clean, but dated and tired furniture. Pool with bar service fabulous and the restaurants were all very good. Nice gym- tennis courts. Great breakfast selection. Easy walk to old town Marbella - ocean is shallow but not sandy. There was a fire on the roof of the adjacent restaurant one of the nights of our visit, but it was quickly controlled and staff handled the event professionally.

I arrived at Don Pepe Gran Melia Marbella on July 4, 2024. At the reception desk I met with Jesus one of the hotel representatives. He told us that the room was ready and gave us the keys. When we went to the room on the 6th floor, we noticed that it was occupied. I came back to the reception desk and Jesus told me that he made a mistake and gave us the wrong room. After, he gave us the keys to the different room. I stayed at the hotel about 4 days and it was a great experience. Ladies at the breakfast area were really nice and the hotel has positive vibes. On the last day, when I approached the reception desk to check out, Jesus was there. I thought that this time he would do his best so that we could leave the property happy. However, I was wrong. First, Jesus told me that I had to pay 4 euro for ordering something from the bar. I told him that we never used anything from the bar and asked him to provide more details, but he refused and presented me with the invoice for payment. I was waiting for a taxi and did not have time to go into details and just paid the requested amount. What he did next shocked me. I asked him that I wanted to exchange US dollars into Euros. He told me that I must pay a 4% commission fee. I was surprised since I did exchange couple of times before and no one told me or charged me 4% commission fee. In response he told me that with him I had to pay. I asked him can you show me your policy about commission, but he said that there was no policy, and I had to pay. I refused to continue my transaction, and we left the property. So bottom line, try to avoid Jesus at the reception desk and ask someone else to help you. I do not know if they management was aware but this guy should be fired for sure.

This is our 4th visit to this hotel this year. The hotel and staff never dis-appoint us. The grounds and pool are just what you want for a very relaxing break, the gardeners And pool staff keep it immaculately clean. They all work very hard and long hours. I must give a special mention to Raul, Rafa, Albaro and Adrian. Our room had a sea view, as most do with the use of red level. During this break we have met with several returning guests, some returning every year for over 10 years which must say something. The guest services manager, ebel seems to work all day and every day to make sure all the guests Are happy from breakfast until the last guest leaves the pool area. Keep it up abel!!! I could not recommend more, the manager, Noelia, she like abel works very hard to ensure every Guest is more than happy with their stay. It is very unusual to see the hotel manager checking on Guest most days, i am sure she doesn’t need to but it is very reassuring. One more to thank for making Our stay enjoyable is Isabel in red level. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel, we can’t wait until our next visit in September. Keep up the good work Noelia and all your staff.
