Great hotel and restaurant. Food was 5 star and all the staff were fantastic. Rooms are great. Golf course is amazing. It Rained for 1 day but still fully playable and the Greens were superb. Great views.

I've been working for many years in the golfing sector and played many times Rio Real. For me it's always been one of my favorite courses in the Costa del Sol and I will continue to reccomend it! today the definition of the fairways was really impressive! Well done Rio Real you are doing an excellent job!

This is a lovely quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings and excellent staff. The Par room that we stayed in was very spacious and had a massive double bed. The bathroom has everything you need and the shower is nice and powerful. We never saw the cleaners but they obviously did a good job as the room was spotless everyday. All of the balconies overlook the 11th fairway from which you can watch the golfers or just relax. There was a huge real fire in the clubhouse which was nice to sit around when having a nightcap and the staff were excellent. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner but did have lunch in the clubhouse and the food was very good and plentiful. If I was to make one suggestion on how to improve the experience it would be to have coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms but this is a minor thing. Overall I would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the hotel for three days. It was low season with few guests. We liked the hotel and especially the hospitality but the hotel has obviously peaked and parts of the hotel needs renovation. We saw for example broken tiles in the bathroom and walls that needed repainting. The breakfast was good but the bread was outdated( dry). We had a fantastic Valentine dinner (the tuna was superb) but we laughed at the bake-of bread and the prepacked butter. The golf course was in excellent condition and the pro-shop was 100% service minded.

I visit this complex annually . Staff are brilliant. Breakfast has improved greatly. Golf course although always fully booked, doesn't feel too busy. The course is a good test without being ridiculous. I have walked and used a buggy both options are fine. Maybe not a destination for large groups as this is a quite resort and entertainment needs to be found in Marbella. Slightly disappointed that when i lost a golf club it was not handed in but the staff tried to help. Rooms excellent . A great couples or small group resort looking for peaceful few days golf.
