St.Lucia is not a usual destination for a guys-trip, but we had a fabulous time at Marigot Bay. In four days we climbed a Piton, ate at all the top 5 restaurants on the island, swam, ran, kayaked, ziplined, biked, sailed, paddle-boarded and more. Capella Marigot Bay was an ideal location from which to do all that and return to rest before heading out again. I was most surprised and impressed by the attention of the staff. Incredibly welcoming and helpful from the Personal Assistant to the gardeners working in the flowerbeds. Great place. Oh - final point, we were rather worried by the poor weather forecast (rain every day). In fact we had hot sunshine and only occasional passing showers. Don't trust the forecast.

My husband and I recently stayed here as part of a larger group with his work. We had a four day, three night, all inclusive stay and loved every minute of it. Normally my husband err on the side of the budget traveler, staying locally at Airbnbs and cooking at home. Our stay at the Marigot Bay Resort was the exact opposite. Our suite was incredibly spacious for the two of us. Stocked with every comfort and cleaned twice daily. Staff left friendly notes and treats (handmade chocolates, bottles of beer, fresh toasted coconut, etc). Two A/C units kept our room comfortable all day and night long. The food offerings were varied and delightful. We were very happy to enjoy delicious local St Lucian cuisine. We enjoyed the complimentary cocoa tea making class and even bought a few cocoa sticks to take home and share with our family. There is a small grocery store within an easy walking distance of the hotel. When we asked about cocoa sticks to buy they informed us they were out but would get some for us before we left! The store was perfect for buying small gifts for family like handmade soaps ($3 US), local chocolates, rum (smaller gift size bottles of Chairman's Reserve for $7 US), and coffee. We opted to do a deep sea fishing tour which was also a blast. We went out with two other couples, the captain and the first mate. We must have hit a lucky streak because in four hours we caught 14 fish, most of which were huge, beautiful mahi mahi. We brought some of our catch to Marigot Head Chef Bobby who sent the fish to the butcher and had it prepared for us for dinner! Overall this trip was a once in a lifetime, first rate experience we would recommend to everyone!

Absolutely stunning hotel and facilities. We went there with family and loved every minute. Great place to explore the island from. We loved the pool, the personal jacuzzi and the gym. The apartments are stunning. We will definitely come back.

A most beautiful spot. Great apartments for families, really quiet, safe, clean and relaxing. Stunning views. Pools of different sizes. Across the bay, catamarans and canoes for rent from a chap called Cosmo - bargain a little. Lots of really great places to eat in the resort and around the Bay. Staff are lovely, the perfect balance of helpful at all times but not ever pushy. The main restaurant food and wines are amazing. This is a perfect spot for a family holiday. We rented a car and it was nice to take a (slow) drive out a few days, but for a week you would not need to leave Marigot. There is a small supermarket on site and a big local supermarket with a great offer quite close (in a local cab) to stock up for kids things. The hotel offers cool small events like outdoor cinema, guided walks and meet the chef, which is a nice way to meet up with other families. There's a nice vibe across the bay at the beach as well and a free all day water taxi over and back. This is a place where older kids will go off exploring within the resort and you wont be worried about them (as long as they are good swimmers). It is very different to Rodney Bay etc, quieter, calmer but still loads to do. It has more shade, tucked into the rain forest in a protected stunning Bay. The beach is small with flat, shallow, calm water and barriers to prevent kids going into the boat routes. We are going back in Feb - highly recommended.

We dined here for a special evening overlooking the bay. Food was excellent as was the champagne. We were made to feel very special and I have to say the resort looked spectacular evening in the dark. I do believe we will visit this hotel for a stay sometime in the future. Thank you to all.
