We were supposed to stay at the hotel ( my sister, father and I) for a total of 8 days, but on the first day our father had to leave due to unforeseen circumstances. Which left me and my sister alone, the staff was absolutely superb and we felt so taken care of. They arranged everything for us and made sure everything was ok at any given moment. Small gestures such as what kind of coffee we liked in morning made our stay even better. Every day activity and restaurants they arranged and recommended for us was perfect. They went beyond what we ever imagined and we would definitely like to come back.

We stayed 5 nights at this lovely resort. From the moment we entered reception the service and friendliness was apparent. We were kindly upgraded from a 3bdrm to 4 bdrm ryad which was a 4 story massive house. It was decorated beautifully and came complete with butler service. The pool in the ryads are not heated so we spent most of our time at the main pool which is big and has plenty of sun beds. I had a hammam treatment in the resort which admittedly wasn’t the best but the spa facilities are very good. They have a kids club however our son didn’t use it because he was enjoying the pool so much. We ate most days at the pool and the food is very good. One bug bear for all guests was the lack of poolside service. Trying to get someone to serve you was difficult- even after approaching them and being told yes we’ll get to you but didn’t because they were too busy chatting with their colleagues. There were 2 exceptions to this which were Mohammad who provided excellent and personalized service to all guests on the days when he was working and the life guard Anass who always kept a watchful on our son swimming and would bring him fresh towels and move our umbrella as the sun moved. Very kind people who obviously take great pride in their work - thank you! The location is perfect, 10 minute walk to the Medina but we spent most of our time inside the resort because it was so relaxing and beautiful. Thank you to HR Barriere LeNaoura Marrakech- we will be back! I have joined the Barriere program as I now plan to stay at their other hotels after such an impressive experience. 5*****

Great hotel a oasis in a mad city. Fantastic location and super facilities , pay extra for superior room it's worth it, restaurant pricey and dishes very salty. Concierge very helpful but do not use them to book airport transfers very expensive. Gym small and basic but hamman & spa great. Lovely pool and plenty sunbeds to relax on just need the sun...

First time in Marrakech, chose the Naoura especially for its perfect location and balcony. Very warm welcome at arrival, room is good size and very clean. Had breakfast by the pool almost daily. Friendly and helpful staff. Had NYE's dinner in the hotel. The food and wine were fantastic. The hotel was fully booked but quiet since there were no Americans :)

Booked 2 x 4 bedroom ryads for 13 guests and prior to arrival requested the ryads to be as close to each other as possible. Arrived slightly earlier than check in time and was advised that one of the ryads was ready and the other would be ready in a short while. We were advised to wait in the reception area for around 15 mins, we were surprised not to be offered any drinks or towels for refreshment as this seemed to be the norm when other guests were arriving. Ryad 524 was perfect, well appointed rooms with en suite bathrooms and excellent lounge and dining area with a good terrace area and private pool. Ryad 516 was much the same with one major drawback, it was completely in the shade with no sun coming through during the day. The hotel and ryads are perfectly located, 5 min walk to the Koutobia Mosque and Djemaa El Fna. The staff at the hotel on the face of it are quite friendly although the pool attendant didn't seem very friendly to us. Not sure due to us being a large party we had a few service issues. A broken glass in the room was not cleared by maintenance for 2 hours. Sometimes the 24hr butler service would not answer the phone and when they answered at times would pass you to another department. Breakfast was good, although we have experienced better in other hotels. A few favourites were missing such as hash browns and Baked Beans not sure if that's just more a Brits thing. Booking a Ryad allowed you to have a Continental breakfast in the room if you didn't want to go for breakfast at the restaurant. Ryad 516 ordered breakfast to the room one morning, which did not arrive for 2 hours. The manager Yasin took away the complaint advising he will put it to the attention of the General Manager, but we heard nothing of this after this. On the whole cant fault the location and the Ryads themselves as they accommodated a large party like us very well. However the service definitely needs an improvement to be classed as a true 5 star.
