About the Hotel

A spectacularly transformed, 150-year-old hilltop fort, Kasbah Agafay gazes across olive groves, desert hills and the Atlas Mountains, just 20 minutes from the center of Marrakech. This member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World provides unparalleled beauty and privacy. Massive ramparts shelter guestrooms, suites and the signature Caïdal tented suites featuring sculptured mosaic baths. Adorned with Moroccan artifacts and antiques, these luscious accommodations gather around inner courtyards dappled with splashing fountains.

Complementing this sanctuary is the Kssour Agafay, an exclusive private members club spread over three floors in the heart of Marrakech. This unique gathering place was originally an aristocratic residence owned by a noble Moroccan family. Restored to its original glory, it now caters to a bohemian crowd of international travelers and colorful local residents. A melting pot of cultures, it is a place to mingle, dine on tantalizing Moroccan cuisine and enjoy live musical entertainment in singular surroundings.

Reviews for Kasbah Agafay

Immersive Wonderful Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We’ve worked with many hotels while organizing group trips, and Kasba Agafay stands out as one of the most professional and well-run places we’ve encountered. Every aspect of our stay was handled with care and attention to detail — from the smooth logistics to the warm hospitality. Among all the stops on our journey, this was by far the most memorable. Highly recommended for both individual travelers and organized groups.

A Stay To Remember

A breathtaking 18th century castle in the Agafay desert in Morocco! We experienced a fantastic greeting on arrival to Morocco. During our stay we sampled traditional Moroccan tea and traditional Moroccan cuisine. The rooms and the grounds! Just wow! A truly relaxing space. Along with the incredible panoramic views of the Agafay desert and the Atlas mountains. They arranged once in a life time activities for us including traditional Hammam, quad biking and camel rides in the Agafay desert. The staff wen't above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember.

Beautiful Stay

We had an unforgettable stay at Kasbah Agafay. The building is gorgeous with scenic views and the staff will go above and beyond for you. The hospitality was the best I have experienced. The hotel even organised quad biking in the desert, airport transfers, hotel transfers, spa treatments and everything in between. Thank you to all the staff at Kasbah Agafay for making our stay what it was, we won’t forget this trip!

A beautiful, tranquil paradise on the outskirts of Marrakech

The most gorgeous hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful aesthetic, friendly staff and a relaxing, peaceful ambience. We stayed here for 4 nights, with a short trip to Essaouira in the middle. The whole place had a really special feel and it made our holiday to Morocco incredibly memorable. They serve delicious food too! Having the Kasbah to return to after a day exploring the Medina is exactly what you need 😍
