Reviews for Palmeraie Golf Palace & Resort
Don’t be fooled by the food they show on there website, the menu for the people that pay to go all inclusive is vastly reduced as is the drinks menu and even then items runout. Twice the main bar runout of gin as did the Italian restaurant and in the outside grill for lunchtime something as simple as a burger is not allowed on the all inclusive menu. As many others have reviewed the breakfast is adequate but more biased toward continental and if you allow the many waiters to fetch items they will expect a tip. The best feature is the outside pool layout, very attractive with lots of private little areas and the bedroom sizes are good. If you go to play the Palm golf course and need a buggy make sure you book well in advance and have written confirmation and even then you may not get them as this is what happened to us.

We were in the hotel one week for a golf holiday. It is a very nice hotel. Personnel is very friendly. Driss, Achraf and Zakarie in the reception and also other personnel. Rooms are nice and clean. Golfing is okay and the caddies are professional and quiet. The course is nice. One minor point was that the sauna did not work the whole week and they did not explain why is was not repaired during the week. We were there all inclusive. The food and drinks were good. For all the members of italiaonline team we thanks all the stuff of the palmeraie palace for theire work. Service, food, rooms all was great.and special thanks for Noufal for his cooperating with us. Thanks to karima our Angel and a big thanks for Dounia for her help and her smile specially she was the only person who can speak italiano language. We are looking for revisiting you next year. Good luck
We arrived at Palmeraie Palace and was completely in awe of how big the resort is, and how beautiful the reception area is. We were checked in quickly, asked to put down a €200 deposit, which we were unsure about as the hotel manager didn’t explain exactly what it was, but after asking and clarifying it was completely fine. Our room was lovely, the housekeeping are a credit to the hotel, we didn’t have a view but you’re in Marrakech, there are views everywhere! The architecture of the buildings, the interiors of the rooms & the gardens are all very nice! The only thing that I would suggest is to explain to EVERY guest that they have to book the restaurants in advance, even if you are all inclusive. You can choose from over 4 wonderful restaurants but the hotel manager failed to tell us we had to reserve, so when we went down to have dinner we were told ‘everything is full’. This should be the first thing you tell your guests, or they go hungry! Luckily they found us a table late at night. However, you cannot fault the restaurants, every restaurant has a unique interior and there is something for everyone on the menu. Calamari at the French restaurant was excellent, Moroccan was great for something different and Italian/Asian if you are looking for something romantic. Just ask at the door for a car to the Italian, they will drop/pick you up. You can walk to the Moroccan restaurant. The staff really do look after you, they organised a quad bike trip for us in the desert and it was brilliant. They also picked us up from the hotel/ dropped us off. You can book different excursions with the hotel. They also have a private van that will drop you off at the old/new town. Also if you want to visit Jardin Majorelle / Yves Saint Laurent museum, the driver will stop off if you ask. We just want to say thank you so much to Palmeraie Palace for looking after us and making our anniversary special. From the cake you brought to our room, to the staff constantly making sure everything was perfect. The older man with the glasses from the excursion/concierge desk was very helpful and friendly, and the young lady in the bar was great. Service was quite slow sometimes in the bar, but it was only because there was not enough bar staff for the amount of guests in the bar! Make sure you visit the souvenir shop opposite from the main door, the man in there is so friendly!! P.s to the moany British men asking why there was no gin left, why don’t you stop whinging and drink something else. All the wine on the all inclusive menu was GREAT quality and the beer speciale was lovely and I don’t even like beer! Some British people really embarrass you when they rudely tap their glasses at the staff and shout when a bartender puts too much ice in their drinks. Grow up!

Nice buildings and landscaping, all be it a bit confusing to get around. But food, facilities and service are dated: terrible WiFi, weak showers, no room service menu in the room, mediocre breakfast. Maybe it’s good for people playing golf.
