Reviews for Riad Kniza
Hotel is well located with a very nice room . There are beautiful common areas , a traditional dining area and a nice roof top deck . Internet is good but there is no minibar in the room . We had a huge and delicious meal with wine .

This is a very beautiful place to stay in Marrakech. It is inside the old medina and very near the gate. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. The rooms are cleaned everytime you leave them. Breakfast is abundant and always the same but if you want a particular food to be served, just let them know in advance and they'll try to get it for you. You can ask them to arrange an airport pick up and a guide too! I'll stay here again if ever I go back to Marrakech.

You'd think you were just invited in to a private home of a wealthy family. A glimpse into a Moroccan dynasty from a privately owned and fully restored Riad. Kamal and his team will hands down be the best service you will encounter in Marrakech, perhaps even in Morocco. Attention to detail, style of service, the word "no" has no place in their vocabulary. The rooms are extravagant in that plush and cozy way, and exudes elegance as you would expect it in a palace. The generously sized pool is a cool respite from the heat, and the hammam a heated haven for those cooler days. Aside from the most delicious king's feast I've had in Morocco (do not have any lunch on the day you dine there!), the biggest wow factor, and unexpected surprise is the museum across the entrance. The patriarch of the family, Mohamed, has collected pieces over the many years of his families centuries, which he shows with pride and each object he attaches with the history behind it like an excited professor. The aura he exudes is palpable and you turn into a little student wanting to absorb more and more of this fascinating culture. It is not open to the public yet, so the private viewing gives it another notch of exclusivity. You will be returning home that much richer in understanding not only the history but the unbelievable hospitality and generosity of the Moroccan heritage. Bravo !

My 3rd visit to this lovely Riad. A warm welcome really feels like coming home. Perfect oasis in a busy city. Every request is met with a smile. The rooms are beautifully furnished and maintained. Dinner and breakfast on the roof terrace is a must. My one negative is that they now have a menu for dinner. It was much more fun when dinner was what chef decided. If you are looking for a home not a clinical unpersonal hotel then this is the place to stay. I am looking forward to returning soon.

We visited Riad Kniza with friends 2 years ago and always planned to return. Guests are given a traditional Moroccan welcome with mint tea and we were warmly welcomed back. Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with rose petals and fruit basket. Staff are friendly and attentive and always ready to suggest itineraries or sights to visit. We highly recommend asking for breakfast to be served on the roof terrace- it's delicious. Dinner and lunches are also available , the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Since our last visit the family have added a museum and gallery for Riad guests just across the street. Mr Bouskri was happy to show us around and his collection of Berber artefacts is extensive and very well presented so please ask to see it.The neighbourhood , while bustling with activity is nevertheless a safe area to walk through at all times of the day and evening and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit.
