Great experience from start to finish. Staff were friendly and informative. Mint tea and delights on arrival. Room was large and beautiful. Central location to many of the attractions. Felt like royalty while on the property. 10/10 would go again and bring family!

This review is long overdue but as I approach the one year mark from our Morocco trip and reminisce about our time there, I feel like it's still necessary. Riad Kniza was the first and last place we stayed during our trip to Morocco. We got acquainted with Marrakesh before heading to the Sahara, and enjoyed our first taste of this beautiful riad and five-star hospitality before the desert. And we couldn't wait to relax and be pampered here after the desert, too - we felt at total ease and at home thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. While the staff really made our stay, we also enjoyed the beautiful accommodations (exquisite details and history), spa, and food at Riad Kniza. We can't wait to return one day! Inshallah.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay, right in the medina 10 yards of a local market street, it was so peaceful . The building was beautiful, lovely room, staff were so helpful and courteous. Breakfast was fantastic especially as it was warm enough to have it on the roof terrace. We ate dinner there one night and the food was sumptuous. Beautiful tastes and spices. The owner , Mr Mohammed, is setting up a museum and shop and eventually a bistro across the small alleyway. Ask for a personalised tour of the museum, it is fabulous and he is so enthusiastic about his project. Would definitely return here.

Once in a while you come across a gem to discover, in Marrakesh this was the place for us. Located in the Souk you are whisked away by the hotel staff on arrival to an assuming door that hides behind it the Riad. From the moment you step through the door you are looked after by the staff and nothing was too much trouble, service was impeccable. The food is ample and breakfast on the terrace with he sounds and smells of the souk are tantalising. This is a good place to based yourself and the local people in the souk did not hassle, that pleasure awaits you at the main square but it was a good experience of local life and hospitality. Do not forget if you stay to ask to see the soon to be open private museum across the road?

Making a booking at this Riad opens up an experience of old world atmosphere and service. Knowledgeable, friendly but respectful staff who seamlessly provided all of our needs and requirements. The presence of the owner Mohamed enhanced the visit. His enthusiasm, love of culture and his adjacent museum proved a much appreciated bonus. Plus special thank you to Salma who was charming and made a special effort to help make our birthday celebration even more memorable.
