Named after an Arabian stud who founded a line of thoroughbreds, the family-owned Selman Marrakech opened in 2013. State-of-the art technology hides discreetly behind Moorish design elements like Zellige tile, preserving the regal ambience of a sumptuous Berber palace. French architect Jacques Garcia also designed the accommodations housing the family's collection of Arabians.

Selman Marrakech is a beautiful hotel, the hotel grounds were breathtaking. We booked a villa, loved every bit of it. Our butler Ahmed took care of all our needs. A big thank you. The most special experience for us was seeing the in house horses, the stables were spotless and the horses, all were so beautiful. That was the main reason we booked this hotel, my girls loved the riding experiences and they went to say hi to the horses everyday. The only thing that could be improved a bit would be the food selection. There were not much choices on the menu. The hotel is not near any restaurants, you would need to book a taxi. It's a family owned hotel and the hotel staff is one big family. They were kind enough to invite us to attend their end of year party. You can see how much they adored the hotel owner. All the staff took pride in their work. That says a lot about this hotel. Selman Marrakech is indeed a special place.

This was one of my favorite Hotels so far. We had a lovely stay and everything was just perfect. The service was super nice and they did a great job. Especially I want to thank Karim, Amal, Idrissi, Meryam and Anas from the service at the breakfast Restaurant. They were all super lovely and very mindful. On the day of our departure, they even set the table with our favourite food without even asking. They were amazing! Also the hotel area was beautiful with all the plants and the big pool in the middle. The Spa area was also a dream. Last, I want to thank Abbas and Manal from the room service. You could see that they always put lots of effort in cleaning our room and they made our stay even more comfortable. Thank you very much to the whole team and I would love to come back to this beautiful hotel.

We didn't stay at this hotel but we did a day pass - it's about £130ish depending on the rate - this included a 3 course meal a bed with service all day. This place is exquisite, it has beautiful Moroccan charm, the place is tranquil and real treat of the senses. I can only say have a look at the pics. I also had a ride on one of the horses out of the stables. Phenomenal experience.

I went there with my family, both for the pool and the Marocaine restaurant. (to watch the horse show) It surely was a night to remember. Big shoutout to Boubker, who helped us about everything, literally everything. He was ready to help at all times and with a big&sincere smile of course. He made us feel special. Entire staff was very friendly and professional. I have to mention, such an amazing atmosphere! Watching royal horses train, mevlevi dancer while having dinner with family was great. Food was good but not the best in Marrakech. But the total experience was amazing, thanks to Boubker and the show.
