Keekorok Lodge

Very good location and athmosphere. Specially recommend our safari guide John Lemurt. We made safari 5 days, totally professional guide, see him also Instagram Lemurt_wildlife. Maasai Mara and Muthu Lodge are excellent pair.

My wife's 4th visit to Keekorok and she comments: "I returned to Keekorok after an absence of several years but it was like coming home! There had been a few changes, all for the better. It was so lovely to meet the wonderful restaurant manager, Judy, again and we look upon her as a friend. The chefs were very talented, serving excellent food with a variety to suit all tastes. The room staff were almost invisible, they were so efficient, and we always returned to a clean and comfortable room. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and attentive and had our early morning coffee ready for us as we approached the main building! We loved the atmosphere and the "Hakuna Matata" song to celebrate visitors' special occasions, and the guitarist in the evening was a very pleasant bonus. I am planning my next visit with my husband for April 2026 - can't wait!"

Great location, wonderful staff, expansive property. Food quality was excellent with great service. Clean chalet, hot water, warm and very comfy bed. There were no bugs in our room at all. Everything about Keekorok is great, this is my 4th stay or so in the last 15 years, the new management has made good changes including service and food. The buffet and a la carte meals are excellent. I loved the salads and soups too. Papadums are always available, love that !! The location cannot be beat for wide access to the Narok side, not even the Ritz can beat it in terms of access to all areas, at 10x the price. Staff here was really wonderful right from the greeters to the chefs and the reception staff, plus the escorts. Great to see hippos and hyenas outside the room at 3am, nothing like it ! Just don't step out to pet them, you will lose a hand or 2 ! Hahah. Call the reception for an escort after dark and pre-sunrise. Chalets from 1287 to 1295 are the closest to the reception area, with minimal walk.

I stayed at Keekorok lodge twice this year both times the experience was wonderful. Great service, the staff were very helpful, great meals. On my second visit I went with friends and celebrated one evening at the bush dinner, it was amazing. The manager Cynthia was awesome, very professional, she took time and showed us around the facilities and made sure we had everything we needed. I was very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Was an excellent adventure. Felt very safe and staff were very helpful. Food was excellent with many choices for all tastes. Would recommend this trip for a once in a lifetime experience.
