Very very good

If you’re looking for a true safari escape, Keekorok Lodge delivers an experience that goes beyond expectations. Being located inside the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, you are constantly surrounded by nature—it feels raw, real, and incredibly special. What I appreciated most was the relaxed and authentic atmosphere of the lodge. It doesn’t try too hard to be overly luxurious but instead focuses on giving guests a genuine connection to the environment. Sitting around the bonfire in the evening, watching wildlife nearby, was something truly unforgettable. The service throughout the stay was consistent and welcoming. A big thank you to Manish from the F&B team, who stood out with his calm, professional approach and ensured we were well taken care of at all times. Small gestures and attention made a big impact. Meals were well-prepared and satisfying, with a good balance of local and international options. The dining experience felt natural and comfortable rather than formal, which suited the whole safari vibe perfectly. Overall, Keekorok Lodge offers a grounded, authentic Masai Mara experience with great hospitality and memorable moments. A solid choice for anyone wanting to experience the wild without compromising on comfort.

Amazing place

I had an incredible stay at Keekorok Lodge, located right in the heart of the breathtaking Masai Mara National Reserve. The experience was truly memorable from start to finish. The lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort and authentic safari charm. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and provide stunning views of the surrounding wilderness—you can literally hear and see wildlife right from your doorstep. What really stood out for me was the exceptional service and one of their outside lunch at Hippo Bridge. A special mention to Manish, who went above and beyond to ensure every dining experience was perfect. The food was outstanding, with a great variety of dishes catering to different tastes, all served in a beautiful setting overlooking the savannah. The overall atmosphere of the lodge is peaceful, making it an ideal place to relax after thrilling game drives. I would highly recommend Keekorok Lodge to anyone looking for a luxurious and authentic safari experience in Masai Mara. Definitely a place I would love to visit again!

Keekorok rocks

The location is excellent it is in the Masai mara. You really can't see the lodge from outside , it is not fenced so you can see various species of deers grazing through the day. They have a lovely bar called the hippo bar looking over a pond where the hippos love to be. So you can see then through the day and sometimes if you are lucky you see them grazing outside the dinner hall. The staff is very warm , there are vegetarian food options in each meal. Including Indian style food. They have Masai women selling Masai goodies daily right on the property. They have a small pool but it was raining and cold so we didn't venture out.

Keekorok - Never again!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I’ve stayed at Keekorok before – no problem. This time was different. My partner and I booked 3 nights. The first night was as usual. At night, it was quiet – but for the sounds of the occasional lion, hyena, hippo. Lovely. The second night Keekorok hosted a concert, with bright lights and loud music, that I’m certain traveled quite a distance throughout the park. This concert lasted until 1:25am! There were lots of the younger crowd that, I’m sure, enjoyed the atmosphere – we didn’t. No one from management told us that this would be happening at Keekorok; had we known, we would have booked other nights. We also learned that the concert would repeat the following night. So we checked out after the second night, hoping that, due to the circumstances (lack of sleep and quiet, substandard food quality during the event), MGM would refund us 2 nights accommodation. We weren’t even asking for other costs associated with the safari. Just a refund of our accommodation fees for 2 of the 3 nights. No refund was issued. I can only imagine what our clients would have thought if we had brought some or the mere ethics of a loud concert in a wildlife reserve. MGM Keekorok – never again!
