Matera in our heart!
Palazzo Gattini was one of the highlights of our tour through Puglia and Basilicata. Located in the heart of Matera’s historic Sassi district, the hotel combines the elegance of a noble residence with the comfort and attention to detail you would expect from a truly high-end boutique property. The interiors, carved into Matera’s characteristic stone, create a warm and unforgettable atmosphere, where historic architecture blends beautifully with contemporary design. Our room was spacious, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a breathtaking view over the Sassi that made waking up each morning something special. The service was exceptional. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and ready with helpful suggestions about local sights, restaurants, and activities—making our short stop in Matera feel perfectly curated within our wider Puglia itinerary. Amazing Place
I totally fell in love with Palazzo Gattini, the hotel is just beautiful The staff was incredible and the restaurant… wow! The food was just fantastic. Fresh, tasty, full of love. Matera is already amazing, but staying here made it unforgettable. I hope to come back soon! Obrigado!

Thank you for a perfect stay
I had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Gattini. The hotel is beautiful and full of history, and everyone was very kind and helpful. My room was comfortable and quiet, with a lovely view of Matera. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of me I hope to come back soon

Fabulous hotel with sassi view
Fabulous luxury hotel. Terrific location. Room 210 has a large patio with a defensive turret in the corner, a private outdoor spa, and a fantastic view of the sassi. The view is the same as the hotel bar. Easy parking outside of the historic area in a parking garage with coordinated hotel transport.

Amazing ! The place to be !
Wonderful experience : amazing room, very professionnal staff on top to be so kind, nice spa with a cave pool, restaurant, breakfast and the rooftop just perfect. Well located with Matera view ! I strongly recommend and will come back.
