We stayed at the Lodge in a luxurious suite. Every day was a day filled with being spoiled. We have never been to a place like this and plan to make it our anniversary get-a-way. Make reservations for dinner at least once. Enjoy the pub for other nights. The Shrimp flatbread was delicious. The staff is always helpful and friendly. For breakfast, the Eggs Benedict was delicious. The french toast was a little burned, but I assumed the chef was trying their best. The rest was so good. Tea in the afternoon in the Great Hall was a treat. They have a beautiful indoor pool so bring a swim suit.

Even the cold cloudy, and slightly rainy, November weather didn't make this trip any less enjoyable, Primland was exceptional. We stayed in the Cottontail mountain home, overlooking a valley, with a hot tub and deck. The staff were very professional, and friendly, they made sure quickly and efficiently that our needs were taken care of. A member of staff actually escorted us to the mountain home, and made sure we were settled in nicely before leaving. The home itself, while small, was perfect for a couple. The kitchen was supplied well enough we were able to cook a couple of our own meals during our stay (we like to cook!) The hot tub was clean and ready for use; as was the bathroom and the whole house. While this trip was very expensive, it was definitely worth it. I can't afford to go here every year, but for a couple looking to reconnect, or just get away from it all for a while, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Five Star-Five Diamond....All aspects of the operation. Food and beverage service was impressive and flawless; rooms were perfectly detailed. Loved the grounds, traveling to the main building. A must.

We stayed in the treehouse for my wife’s birthday. OMG, the staff at Primland is soooo great. They always greet you with a smile, and do whatever in their power to make your trip exceptional. Everyone made my wife feel extra special for her birthday! The views from the deck of the Dan river valley were georgeous. We sat on the deck both evenings and had before and after dinner drinks. The food and service at Elements were exquisite. And the S’mores by the fire pit were messy but delicious. Thanks to all the staff for making our vacation great. I wish I remembered everyone’s name, but if you go, make sure you chat with Leif at the valet!
