Horrible experience and no one cared to make it right in some way other than a different room. We had a reservation and confirmation for a Dan River suite and, upon arrival, was told it wasn’t available, but the staff had moved us to another suite in the main lodge. It was nice, but not what we had asked for (since we wanted the view and fireplace of the original suite) and received confirmation of. Would have been nice to receive a phone call about any issue two weeks ago (or even last night) before driving two hours to get there only to request a refund and turn around. Not what I expect from what is supposed to be a high end resort. Doubt I will be back.

We stayed in a Pinnacle cottage with a beautiful view of the gorge. The service was outstanding. The facilities are gorgeous. The food was great. We cannot wait to come back when we can stay longer and play golf!

Primland exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The service and attention to detail is a close to perfection as one can get. We were only able to stay one night, however left knowing we would return. It is a truly special place.

Visited Primland for the first time in the winter months and had an amazing time! So much fun activities from whiskey/moonshine tasting, stargazing, atv tour, and of course the spa. The staff is incredible, very accommodating, and will do anything to make your experience the best! We had some great meals at Elements, the staff again was very attentive and pleasant. Looking forward to my next visit!

We just returned from a three-night stay over New Years. Incredible to say the least. Food, service, staff.....everything was over the top. We attended the New Years Eve Gala, and it was very well done. Great band, open bar, great food. The staff worked their tails off! The only suggestion I would make to those going to Primland....if you book a room in the Pinnacle Cottages, make sure to get one on the top level. We were on the lower level and could hear footsteps from the folks above us. Thankfully, they weren't too loud, but we could hear them. Other than that, the Dan River Suite within the cottage is spectacular. Wish we could have enjoyed the expansive deck, but it was too we turned on the fireplace!! Can't wait to get back and play the golf course, which looks incredibly challenging. Thanks again to the wonderful staff at Primland!! From the doormen to the wait staff, bartenders, room attendants, etc.. You all are great!
