My daughter and I spent the weekend. Staff was extremely accommodating. The resort is remote but beautiful. Numerous room choices. for weekend we stayed in main lodge room 4 had a very large deck over looking resort entry. Odd numbers overlook golf course either view is wonderful. There are treetop villas which looks small and basic but views are incredible the rooms outside the lodge are a little spread out but staff will take you anywhere. We golfed and tried clay shooting for first time a great experience. Steve the instructor was patient and very knowledgeable made a great time. Golf teaching pro Craig was a real gentleman helped me straighten some things out so I could enjoy the golf course. Golf is wonderful scenic good shot qualities and very playable. well spaced tee times keeps pace of play very good. Lodge room was very spacious and well appointed comfortable for the two of us the suite set up gave us privacy. restaurants were good and staff tremendous. Great selection of bourbons and specialty moonshine drinks. highly recommend the resort. we flew into Greensboro airport and an easy 1.5 hour drive 20 minutes of that inside the very large resort.

Best Father's Day ever! Great room, great service and an adventure for the whole family. We played golf, hiked, swam and went to the shooting range for target practice, archery and tomahawk throwing. My six year old can't stop talking about it. Such a unique experience. We can't wait to go back.

We visited for 2 nights in one of the tree houses. It was a special experience. When we arrived they parked our sports car and gave us an SUV to use during our stay. The treehouse is situated in a secluded spot with an amazing overlook to the valley below. The large balcony is the perfect spot for room service breakfast. The shower has two sides of glass, feeling like you are showering outdoors. Special touches included: a mid-afternoon cookie delivery, turn down service with chocolates, luxurious robes and linens. All top notch! The staff is beyond accommodating; they make a genuine attempt to make the stay perfect. For example, we weren't sure about moonshine cocktails, so the bartender gave us a sip before we ordered $16 cocktails. My husband loved the sausage patties at breakfast; the server offered to pack 2 extra patties for him to snack on later. There are so many activities to do at Primland that we couldn't fit in everything we wanted to experience. The RTV driving was a way to see much of the land and wildlife with some excitement of driving through creeks and mud. Our guide, Devin, couldn't have been more personable. The golf is pricey, but it's a challenging course that is in excellent shape. The holes are scenic with lots of elevation change. We will be back to try many of the other adventures!! We will also recommend a visit to our friends!

What an incredible setting and architectural masterpiece fitting of the surroundings both inside and out! Cannot single out a single staff member as from the minute we arrived and throughout our stay "Every Staff " member could not have been friendlier and offering assistance at every turn! We stayed in a suite in the Main Lodge! Beautiful decor, spotless, fabulous Frette linens and Bulgari soaps! Kudos to the new chefs! We had the Chef's tasting menu the first night and it was creative and incredible all the way thru! The most tender venison we have ever eaten! The next night we ordered off the menu and that too was exceptional! Had a great lunch in the Pub - Green tomato Shrimp small plate and a Club sandwich both very delicious! Spent 2 days hiking, reading and relaxing on the decks! We did not want to leave the premises! Would have liked to have a few extra activities included in the price of the room i.e. maybe the bikes, the Observatory and even the kayaks! Fabulous get-a-way! Enjoyed stopping at Chateau Morissette for Lunch @ 1/2 hr from Primland! Highly recommend!

Primland surpassed our expectations. From the moment we called to make reservations until checkout, the customer service was excellent. Primland is hidden among the beautiful Blue Ridge Mtns making it so peaceful and relaxing with gorgeous views. Our family enjoyed the privacy and breathtaking view of a mountain house on the property. ATVs were fun for the whole family!
