We went to Primland for our 35th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. We were greeted by Cameron immediately upon arrival. Check in was quick before a tour of lodge. He then took us to our suite in one of the Pinnacle Cottages. We were amazed when we walked in. The views were spectacular. The suite was most impressive with the finest of furnishings, linens, etc.... There are so many activities they offer. We especially loved the RTV 2.5 hour excursion. Noel was our guide and she was fabulous. She truly loves her job and is very knowledgeable of the area. The trails were gorgeous with lots of mountainous views, hills, creeks, wildlife, etc.....she took us to two overlooks with spectacular panoramic views. We especially loved seeing where the hunting dogs and birds are kept. It took about 20 minutes to get from the lodge to the outdoor activities center. They provided transportation for us. Another drive with amazing views. We also fished in one of their stocked ponds. We caught trout and bass ( catch and release). Cameron took us down (about 20 min from lodge) and picked us up at a designated time. We hiked two of the hiking trails and did the stargazing & s’mores one night. We ate at Elements one night and the pub the other two nights. The food, drinks, and service were both outstanding. The spa looked amazing but we ran out of time! Another reason to come back. We found it very refreshing how all the staff are passionate about their jobs. They are very knowledgeable of the history of Primlamd. We enjoyed Cameron telling us about the family and how the 12000 acres were developed. We look forward to going back. A most memorable anniversary trip for us.

We came to Primland from NYC, hoping to escape the hustle and bustle of the city...and we got ALOT more. Although the place isn't the easiest to get to, it is WELL worth it (fly into Greensboro); the food is amazing, views are miraculous, activities are unparalleled anywhere in the region. Prices are very reasonable for all this place has to offer. Additionally, what adds to the appeal is that Primland is its own private community, so there are no "rules" so to speak. In other words, no police within 10 miles, so this would make for a fantastic bachelor party location as well. I recommend Primland to families, couples, and large groups.I will be back!

This was our second time at Primland. The staff are very attentive, the rooms immaculate and comfortable. Restaurants onsite are wonderful. There are lots of things to do, even in the rain. Love the afternoon tea and Manager's reception. Attention to detail is exceptional. Will definitely return!

We were staying in a cabin for fall break and spend an afternoon at Primland. The clay shoot was good and the rtving was really fun. The rtvs go on old logging trails through the mountains. Primland is beautiful and there are lots of activities and options, including a spa. Outdoor terrace is nice for lunch or cocktails.

We had wanted to see this beautiful property for quite some time. Driving up the long private road to get there we were treated to stunning views. The lodge came into view and it did not disappoint. There had been snow the day before and everything was blanketed in white. Everything at this property is top of the line...from the frette linens on the bed, the automated shades on the windows, the interesting art work thru out. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Genuinely nice people helped us enjoy our stay. Thank you all.
