Primland is without a doubt the most impressive resort I have ever experienced. I stayed in one of the Fairway Cottages, and it was absolutely spectacular. The house itself is beautifully constructed, and there was so much attention to detail. The vaulted ceilings, hewn plank floors, open kitchen and dining area, gas logs, steam room, soaking tub, and the floor to ceiling views of the Blue Ridge were only some of the features that made the cottage unforgettable. Because the weather was so cold and icy, we opted to use valet service to take us to the lodge for meals, etc. What a treat!! The Lodge itself had such a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. We were able to enjoy meals at both the Laurel Bar and Leatherflower. The drinks and food at both locations were delicious, and the staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable of the menus and the ingredients of the dishes. In addition, we had lunch at the Woodland Grill prior to an RTV excursion. Being able to ride out in the snow throughout the property is an experience I will never forget.

We had an incredible weekend at Primland. We stayed in the Pinnacle Cottages and were in awe of how nice & clean the room was and the amazing view of the mountains. What really made the weekend special was all of the friendly and thoughtful staff who made sure we were always taken care of. By the end of the weekend we felt like a part of the “family”. I hope I don’t forget anyone, but Cricket and Molly are the best bar tenders and the most friendly people. Definitely be sure to try the pear martini and espresso martini! Jared, Blaze, Chris, Clay, Jack, and Lief took the best care of us shuttling us everywhere around the resort and giving recommendations on what to do. Grace was the most patient and helpful skeet shooting instructor. We had an absolute blast with her on the 5 stand range. Tommy, Cassidy, and the rest of the front office folks went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. And lastly, but certainly not least, Seth was the best sommelier and hot sauce enthusiast. I highly recommend doing his wine tasting. Thank you for an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to come back!

Southern hospitality at its finest. Unbelievably warm and caring crew. Personal touches around every corner made us feel like family by the time we left. The lodge was immaculate and no detail in construction or appointments was overlooked. Very unique amenities. We love the observatory experience. Our kiddos were always acknowledged and treated well. We will definitely be back!

My son and I traveled to Primland last weekend and despite some snow and ice, we had a wonderful time. Will(the GM), Cassidy(front desk) and the entire team were exceptional and accommodating. They cleared the roads to ensure that we made it home safely and even helped put snow socks on my car to help with traction. Given the weather conditions, everything exceeded our expectations and we very much look forward to return returning to this property.

Primland was a magical place and every member of the staff that we encountered was helpful, knowledgeable, and focused on making our experience memorable. Wendi, Jessica, Paula, and the reservations team were all incredible and helped us plan our entire trip. Once we arrived, Brooklyn helped us figure out a shift in lodging because of snow and icy weather. We ended up staying in the Pinnacles, and we were treated like royalty by the valets and shuttle drivers who hauled our group back and forth. Leif, Carson, Blaze, Matt, and the rest of the team were so professional and great drivers even in icy and windy conditions. And we loved that Kayla was able to bring us food from the lodge so we didn't have to go outside in the mornings. I would say our entire group would say that the spa was our favorite part of the trip--Brenda, Kamala, Rebecca, and the rest of the team were fantastic and it was such a cozy spot to spend our time watching the snow from the windows! Our meals were all terrific at Leatherflower and the Laurel Bar (especially the Trout Cobb Salad) with Samantha and Cricket, and loved the hot chocolate in the lodge and up at the observatory. Would love to go back to Primland for another girl's trip or a family getaway-- especially so we can take advantage of more outdoor adventures that we couldn't do in the freezing weather and snow!
