Luxury, yes. Expensive, yes. Worth it. Yes! Food, service, accommodations, activities, scenery, all top. Might be my favorite vacation ever.

It's magical and worth it. Definitely worth going out of your way for. Service is top-notch and food is legit. Great weekend destination.

Birthday in February

Fantastic experience celebrating my birthday. Loved the Pinnacle Cottage rooms. Huge with exceptional views. Great Hall is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Don’t miss the clay shooting and RTV. Spa is average and there is not sauna for women. Food is excellent but sometimes limited. Resort is very remote so you don’t want to leave the premises as it would take 30 minutes to get to a small town with very limited restaurants. Recommend bringing snacks with you. Also make sure you get fuel. There are no close stations and once to gate you are still 20 minutes drive to lodge.

Wonderful getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary here and we had such a wonderful experience. We felt attended to and well taken care of. The staff went out of their way to congratulate us and made the experience very special. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

One-of-a-Kind experience to be enjoyed in the most outstanding rural setting with every Amenity imaginable!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was an outstanding hospitality experience - with outstanding service - one-of-a-kind location and facilities - located on 12,000 rural Virginia countryside acres - with a four and half mile drive was from the gate to the main lodge - with view of spectacular scenery and vistas - and every care anticipated and provided for by outstanding staff. The Lodge at Primland is, indeed, the #1 Resort in the Continental United States. Prepare to indulge yourself and have your highest expectations exceeded.
