Jane has been extremely helpful in all aspects, both during and after my stay. During my stay, the microwave broke down. Jane came to take a look, confirmed the issue and offered to help me heat up my meal. The issue was also fixed after she arranged a technician to come by the next day. After my stay, I had an issue with a charge on my card which was incorrect. I called twice, emailed twice and the issue was not resolved as promised. The third time I called, Jane was the one who picked up, solved my issue, processed a refund for me and also sent me an email with the confirmation all within the same call. Jane provided amazing service quality in an otherwise not so pleasant experience. Jane is a valuable member of the team that goes above and beyond for her role, an awesome example to follow!

We had a great visit and will likely stay again. The location of the Hotel is perfect - very central to most City locations like China Town, Flinders Street Station, Theatres, restaurants, trams, Art Gallery, South Bank, Burke Street Mall etc. (all 10 mins walk or less). Also proximate to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), art gallery, and Rod Laver Arena (tennis centre). The hotel itself had lovely attentive staff during our 3 day stay. We were surprised at the early close of the bar (about 9.30pm on a Friday night - probably could stay open a bit later!). Breakfast (not necessarily included) was great. Options of individually cooked eggs (omelettes, fried, poached) or ready to go scrambled eggs, with bacon, sausages, congee, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal etc. Our room (Double) was very comfortable - various other types available. Our room had a lovely king size comfy bed, a very nice lounge, kitchen sink, mid size, refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, iron (very clean), various crockery including glasses and plates. Our family members had a room with a bar area and dishwasher. The Hotel pool area is nice. Overall the rooms were very comfortable. The "needs improvement" - the Hotel is getting quite tired and needs a major refurbishment if it expects to remain a 5 star Hotel and charge accordingly. The price is a little high for the Hotel, but it's location and staff make up for this to a degree. All in all we will likely stay again.

This place is in an excellent location to visit the theatre, central Melbourne and its restaurants. One street over is the trams which are free inside a set zone but will get you to Docklands Hotel is a bit old world but very comfortable, clean and staff are excellent. Bar happy hour a bit limited on drinks by they do make very good cocktails. We will stay again
