Location was great from Southern Cross station it was a simple tram ride, easy for shopping. We attended Lightscape. Friendly staff

Great Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

The location is perfect, the bed was extremely comfortable, the spa bath was perfect. Within a 10 minute walk to Flinders Street station and Lygon Street for Woodfired pizza. The MCG is a 15 minute walk or you can jump on a tram within 2 minute walk to catch a tram.

Worst hotel experience we've ever had.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Not a 5 star hotel, avoid if you can, stay somewhere else. This place is a straight up rip off. Old, tacky, tired, dirty and worn. Rating this place a 2 star hotel would be generous.

A total rip off, NOT a five star hotel.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

This is not a five star hotel. This hotel is dated, worn, broken and sad. False advertising on steroids here. Beds are the smallest and oldest we’ve ever tried to sleep in, multiple things in the room were broken, the worst being the heating, be prepared to freeze. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Avoid.if you can, find somewhere else.

Average city stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The location of the hotel for a first family city stay was great. Unfortunately though the hotel felt very dated. The room was clean but room and bed needed an upgrade. Our children were so excited to use the pool but it was freezing. Lucky they had a spa to warm up in but it was disappointing. The staff were lovely and welcoming.
