I have stayed here a few times in the past and every time I haven’t been disappointed. As a Hilton Honours member you can check in via the app up to 24 hours before your physical arrival; this allows you to pick your own room so if you have a favourite you can try to score it again! This process also streamlines the check in process at reception; you spend the bare minimum just confirming your details and picking up your key card- as well as collecting the all important welcoming cookie. The rooms on all my occasions have been quiet comfortable and clean- what you want from a hotel and even more so with the name tag Hilton. The beds are sooo comfy (if you nap don’t forget the alarm as it’s easy to dose off), and there’s a pillow menu so you can choose the type of pillow you want. The mini bar comes empty unless specified which is handy if you need to use the fridge for your own personal supplies and the tea and coffee are in plenty of supply. The ensuite is roomy without being tiny; the only downside is there’s no shower door or cloth to provide full privacy in the shower but there is a glass divider between the shower and basin. This is only a minor thing as you have more room to navigate in and out. All in all I highly recommend this Hotel as amazing and friendly and supportive staff who are efficient.

On our first night of our night stay we were in an accessible room due to a booking issue, this room was soulless with the bed pushed against the wall so I couldn’t get out of bed. The hotel were very quick to move us the following day to a room with a queen bed and a view. A much nicer room but the bed size was frustrating, being pregnant I needed more room. The room had a good shower but no bath. Air con seemed to aggravate my cold and husbands asthma - we are now in the Hilton in Sydney and have not had the same issues. The staff were very very friendly and helpful, could not fault them at all. Breakfast buffet was really good. Location of the hotel was fabulous very easy to get anywhere.

I had a Hilton Honors room on the 10th floor (1008). I must say this floor was as quiet as a library-which I loved. I wondered at times if I was the only one on the floor. Of course I had the usual Honors amenities: A kettle, great WiFi, a fridge and an awesome bathroom! I took advantage of early check-in via the app. Once the front desk verified my particulars, I had my key and was on my way in less than 5 minutes! The hotel is near a Tram stop in the free zone and walking distance to many attractions and services. I will definitely choose this property again. While the entire staff was amazing, I'd like to personally thank: Chris (bartender), Alyssa (wait staff), Janet (supervisor), Wrrn (chef) and the breakfast staff for helping make my stay most excellent!

We stayed at the Hilton Doubletree recently to visit the Australian Open tennis. The hotel is very central and extremely well located for the tennis. The staff were friendly, pleased to help and always interested in your day. The platform 271 burger is an absolute delight.

This is a wonderful hotel. I was there last weekend for a university planning day at the nearby Victoria University. The room was spotless, with a wonderful view and the air conditioning worked really well and was consistent. This is not common, as I often have been in hotel rooms where the rooms were too hot which is not ideal for asthmatics. Well done! The staff were both professional and kind. My documents were printed for me and I really appreciated on departing for the airport offering of refreshments. The restaurant is fantastic. The barman made brilliant gin and tonics and the cauliflower fritters a delight. I will look forward to staying again at another uni conference in August of this year. Thank you management and team at Doubletree.
