Reviews for Madison Hotel Memphis
The Madison is well-located and a very friendly small hotel with a great staff at the front desk. The rooms are small so we got a jr. suite with a pullout for our daughter. I wouldn't ask my worst enemy to sleep on that pullout which had pencil-thin padding and sharp springs which noticeably hurt. The hotel did try to add some padding but since they didn't add a mattress it wasn't much help. I was told all the sofa beds were like that. Otherwise a very friendly place to stay with great bar/restaurant.

The Madison Hotel should be avoided at all cost, unless you are with your mother in law and you don't really like here and want to be writen out of the will. Th hotel is clearly not cheap, so you would expect clean rooms, staff that is focused on the guest, and proper hotel management, YOU WILL NOT FIND IT HERE...Go to The Peabody. The rooms are unclean, even after being out of the room for 9 hours, no housekeeping, when I called they were put off that I asked for a clean room, like who was I....the staff needs training and the management should be replaced. Th valet takes forever, their is a work out room in the basement, thing about a bad horror movie, that's The Madison Hotel! scary and someone is missing, a professional staff Even When I called and asked for a manager, no one called back...soon enough this place will be closed, so I am surprized trip advisor has a high rating, as you can see there are issues in several areas

Really wonderful southern hospitality on display by everyone we met, from the bellman to the bartender at the rooftop bar. Whoever leads customer experience here should be applauded; it seemed natural for everyone to be incredibly nice. We loved dinner in the Bistro; the shrimp and grits and iceberg wedge were great. They could use more sparkling wine options on the menu. Our junior suite was fine. Not especially luxe to us, but comfortable and large. The gym in the basement was terrific with plenty of free weights and machines all in pristine condition. Happy we booked here!

Good location. Nice room, and large bathroom. We bad a good view. Most staff were great, but one staff member was gru mpy and difficult. Wanted milk in our roof for cup of tea and coffee. Was charged $4 for a small glas of milk and $5 deliver e en though took 20 minutes to arrkve. Thankfully the lovely lady at checkout withdrew tnese charges. Should niit have bee charged in the first place. Bins in room were not emptied twice over a 4 day stay. Otherwis a good stay.

Cleaning the hallways and keeping dirty dishes out of hallways and rooftop bar a little disappointing!!!Also I felt like the rooms had nothing soeacisk about them!! My view was over the garbage dumpsters ! You should try and hide those from view! Mini bar was a joke! I am a person that only stays in 4 and 5 star hotels so I know what to expect from an upscale hotel! You have so much potienal at the Madison! Bar in lobby just to small!!!
