I went to the roof top bar and Camry exceptional nice view best view I have ever seen

Weak Wifi, no coffee cups available BOTH mornings when I came down for the complimentary coffee, rooftop was not open either evening I was there, and worst of all, on the first day of a two-day reservation, they called me and told me I only had a one-day reservation and was therefore late checking out. Even after I told them the person checking me in had noted it was a two-day reservation, they insisted I was wrong and that I come back to the hotel to discuss. Expedia customer service could not reach the hotel to address the issue; no one answered phone. When I got back to the hotel, they clerk admitted she was wrong. I did have a two-day reservation. When I asked why she hadn't called me to admit her error and thus avoid my trip back to the hotel, no answer/no apology. I will never stay here again.

Had a very good experience at the Hu Hotel in Memphis. Staff was very friendly and helpful and you can't beat the location close to the river, downtown, Beale St and some great restaurants.

This hotel was very disappointing Our room was dated and definitely needed some TLC. The staff looked bored and were not very helpful. The worst thing was the rooftop bar. Although the views are great the cocktails are NOT. The DJ played his music ridiculously loud. You could not talk to the person next to you. I did ask him to turn the volume down which he did, for 5 minutes. He then turned it back up again and said people may want to go inside. Unbelievable !

Initial impression upon entering the hotel, I was a smidge concerned. The hotel was clean, but severely outdated. The STAFF; however, were amazing. Very professional, friendly, inviting, and accommodating. Ebony was exceptionally excellent, but everyone was kind and helpful. Never judge a book by it's cover. Even with the elevators being weird and my best friend eventually being stuck in the lobby for hours because they stopped working, it's the people who created the atmosphere and life of the hotel. Above and beyond is an understatement. If I ever come back to Memphis, it'll be here. Thank you, Ebony and the Hu team for making this a good trip. You all showed out.
