Reviews for Madison Hotel Memphis
During our downtown adventure day, we hotel crashed at the Madison. I love the music motif and the property appears well maintained. The staff and service, however, were a bit discombobulated. We got conflicting answers on whether or not the rooftop bar was open and what was happening in the downstairs bar area (looked like a party or a large group had taken over). Since we were already crashing, we rode the elevator to the rooftop. No bar service, but it was a gorgeous afternoon and the view was excellent. If you want to checkout the view - call first to confirm the rooftop is open.

Great place to stay! Close to Beale St, Fed Ex Forum, AutoZone Park and St. Jude's. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Everything was decorated beautifully for the holiday season and staff were extremely nice and helpful.
Your staff was very nice and helpful. You bar was not as clean and the staff in the bar was not professional. We have stayed with you previously and loved the bar area. We were disappointed this trip. The room was not fully equipped and was not as clean as we like. Hopefully you can upgrade the experience and provide a better product.

Dropped into Memphis for a quick weekend visit with friends and family, and wanted to stay someplace in downtown Memphis. Overall, we were really pleased with the Madison Hotel. The folks at the front desk are outstanding . . . very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed their southern hospitality. We were happy with the room, but the bed seemed a little short for us? However, I did like the lighting in the bathroom, as well as the showerhead. Reviewing our stay, the only aspect of it we weren't necessarily impressed with was valet parking. Although the valets were polite and courteous, we did have to wait an excessive amount of time on two occasions for our car to be retrieved. On one of those occasions, we called 15 minutes in advance of coming down from our room . . . only to wait an additional 15 minutes once we arrived at the front door. All things considered, we would definitely return for another visit when we're back in town.

From the moment we checked in, everyone was very nice from the valet guy,to the receptionist, to the employees we would run into in the halls or elevators. And the room was older but nice. We heard they are about to begin renovations soon, so I bet the very nice room will turn into an excellent room in the near future! We also ate at the restaurant a couple of times, once for a late drink and snack and once for breakfast. Both times the food was very good.
