Hu. Hotel

We always love staying at The Hu. Best rooftop sunset view over the river. Gena, the bartender, was amazing—courteous, attentive, and even made us laugh. Felt right at home!

The service was amazing, Gena made the best drinks and the conversation was so natural and her recommendations were phenomenal , the vibes are great and the view is spectacular!

Hu hotel is a great location for local attractions but the hotel itself is old and tired. The furniture is dirty and marked carpets badly stained cigarette burns on the bedside cabinet. We were moved to another room which wasn’t really much better. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t apologise enough. One member informed us that the hotel was due to be updated soon the better. Breakfast is a basic help yourself with limits selection of hot food, scrambled eggs no fried or poached eggs available,Sausages or bacon but both. Breakfast finishes at 9am and things are cleared away very promptly with no option of drinks after this time unless you purchased from the reception. There was not even bottled water in the rooms nor tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Wouldn’t be recommending this hotel

Zach was great. I would suggest changing the time at the rooftop bar online. It says open until 10 but was told 9pm. Zach still made it work for us by keeping the bar open longer. Eboni was great as well

We only stayed for one night but it was made special by your barkeep Zach. He was the kindest employee we interacted with not only in your establishment, but in all of the businesses we visited in Memphis. He also gave us great tips on good local spots while we enjoyed the views from the beautiful rooftop. I hope we meet him again next time we roll through Tennessee, thank you again Zach!
