Reviews for Camino Real Aeropuerto

good location, poor reception

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

the hotel is well located, we stayed 5 days in the camino real Polanco witch is 5 steps above. people will treat you with little respect, this is unfortunate. As an example they would not let us going to install our son to his room. It seams that there is a special regulation for this hotel

I paid for breakfast and I was told it was not included.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

When I checked in, I was not told anything about breakfast being included. After I returned from my trip, I realized that I had paid extra for breakfast because we were three and only two were "free". I called the from desk from my room about 30 minutes of my arrival and ask the attendant if breakfast was included in my package, I was told "no". When I came back from my trip, I realized I paid extra. As you know, you check so many hotels before selecting one and I lost track which ones offered breakfast plus my reservation was maid months ago.

Convenient and comfortable

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I enjoyed to comfortable bed in the clean and spacious room at this lovely hotel with a perfect location at terminal 1. The bathroom, towels and toiletries were good quality. The staff was friendly, professional and quite helpful. Good bar and restaurants fill the attractive interior. The black-out curtains and sound proofing were desirable. I did indeed miss having a tea kettle in the room however.

30 Mins from Terminal 2 & No complimentary break fast. Very Expensive

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

To reach this hotel, it will take 30 mins from Terminal 2. From Terminal 1, it will take 15 mins. No frequent shuttle service and no complimentary breakfast 1) This hotel is not next door to the airport, hence don't believe all those reviews. We have to pay $20-$30 to reach this hotel by paying for a private taxi. We have arrived Terminal 2 and it is about 3 kms from there and in the airport no one knows about this hotel and no one speaks English 2) One person told me to take an airport bus for which they charged $5 to reach terminal 1. With luggage we reached terminal 1 and went inside the terminal and took a skywalk and then we will reach behind this hotel, which is very dark and has so many dogs. From there we have to walk for 10 mins with luggage and it is so difficult to find and reach this hotel from the backside. They should immediately put another back entrance and some signs to reach the hotel. 3) No frequent Shuttle service to this hotel. Pretty bad and we waited for 25 mins in Terminal 2 and decided to go in the Bus by paying $5. Overall it took 30 mins to reach the hotel lobby. 4) We have tried calling the hotel multiple numbers and none of them are reachable. +1-800-999-7325, +1-877-672-9516, +1-800-901-2300, +800-901-2300, 001-855-266-5203,+1-855-266-520, +5530030033,+5530030028 Finally I took the business card, which is attached here and spoke with the front desk agent who has no knowledge about dialing hotel phone numbers for foreigners' cell phones. Then I took a few mins and googled it for Mexico country code and Mexico city code and finally generated the right working number. The correct number for this hotel is +525530030033, +525530030028. Also informed him to update these 2 numbers in their website and google search results too since 99.99% customers are foreigners who don't have Mexico cell phone numbers. 5) This hotel doesn't have any standards and I don't think any staff member studied the hotel management degree. They put water bottles in the bathroom instead of the living area next to the TV. Also they don't have Fridge. 6) Even though we have paid $250 for just 5 hours sleep, they didn't offer complimentary breakfast. Overall I was very disappointed with this hotel. There are many other hotels, which are less than 5 miles away with frequent pickup shuttles from Terminal 1 and 2, which are in the $150-$170 range. Hence i request not to book this hotel so that their prices should get lower.

ONE NIGHT BETWEEN FLIGHTS

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The hotel is very convenient and attractive, and the staff are friendly and helpful. But the hotel is beginning to show its age with ensuite facilities needing better maintenance. This is our fourth stay and we will return.
