Great stay in period historic property. Comfy bed and cool temperature. Excellent breakfast and also bar service too. Not down points but things to be aware off this is an old property approx. 90 years therefore bathrooms are small and bedrooms are not configured to modern layout. Great for exploring Miami Beach and all it offers. Local bus service in to Downtown

Great location, just a few mins walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Julio. He was so helpful with the luggage and always holding the door when you’re coming and going. Our room was clean, as were the other areas of the hotel. Food at the restaurant was very good.

This is my 4th stay at this hotel since 2013. I do love being close to the beach. The beach towels and chairs used to be in the room. You have to request at the front desk now. Only 1 of my 4 days was I able to have a chair for the beach. DO NOT buy the bus/boat tour from the hotel. I have before; however, it has changed since 2017. The tour guide was constantly looking to scam tourists. You must pay the hotel $40 USD in cash; then $30 in person at the bus. The tour guide took the entire group to a bar at the bay and told everyone they could enter the bar, get a drink, use the bathroom for free, and the boat was on the other side. The receptionist at the bar kept telling us we could only enter if we were going to get a table. Even when the guide said this directly in front of her, she would contradict him. It was a total trap. The cheapest thing on the menu is a 10 oz mango juice for $9 and they expect an 18% tip. I helped 2 couples from Switzerland understand what was happening and a Spanish speaking only couple. It is 100% trap!! Plus, to get on the boat, everyone had to give their paper vouchers to the tour guide before getting on the boat. Then, you have zero proof to prove you even paid for the boat or bus tour. I was so angry! It's nothing but a cheat; I don't understand why this hotel would want to associate itself with this tour line. If you want to stay and have access to the beach, this will do the trick. Do not take any of the tour offers; it is not a good experience. I am ashamed those from other countries will return home with these same stories about the tour.

After being move from the BreakWater Hotel due to a non-functioning AC. We were received very well at the Beacon Hotel. In fact, it was 90+ outside and they directly offered to take our luggages, they handled the transfer so smooth and gave us bottle and glass of water ( they even offered champagne ) and our room was fully prepared and very clean when they were informed only some minutes ago of our transfer, the clearness of the room is good to underline and it smells very fresh. The service has been perfect, always very responsive and helpful. Especially Chiara and Oscar, as on our last day, our flight was late in the evening, and they offered a late checkout ( at 1:00 PM) without issue. The service for the luggage’s and the towels, room service in general is precise and run smoothly. They took good care of our luggage while we were off and gave us enough water to go through the day. Great hotel location, outside of the crazyness and mess that offers Ocean drive, the breakfast was good, great service and friendly people. I recommend their restaurant too for the pasta and nice breakfast. They’ve made the trip that started bad due to our first hotel issue really good and relaxing.

Rooms clean comfortable beds great attention Employees super helpful and friendly Francisco was very nice and helpful… I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Definitely will come back to this hotel on my next trip to Miami.❤️
