My experience was favorable. Staff was friendly and the area was dynamic. Chiara and Nesrine were super helpful and friendly. The trip was one for memory lane. Made friends and enjoyed my short time here. Some constructive critique would be to have better water pressure in the shower and full length mirrors to be able to fully see your attire when going out for the day.

We came to South Beach to tour and stay at an art deco hotel for a special wedding anniversary. The accomodations and service at the Beacon were outstanding. Our room was cool and clean and it had an expresso machine. The windows over looked the beach ⛱️ which was a bonus. The breakfast beach chairs towels and bike usage was included. The stars of the show were Chiara...Oscar and a special shout out to Francisco. Honestly the guy was a blessing with a heart to serve and make visitors happy. Life can be hard..and this trip was a once in a lifetime. From top to bottom the Beacon honored the art deco tradition with a contempory vibe! Loved our time in South Beach. Thank you!

Great stay in period historic property. Comfy bed and cool temperature. Excellent breakfast and also bar service too. Not down points but things to be aware off this is an old property approx. 90 years therefore bathrooms are small and bedrooms are not configured to modern layout. Great for exploring Miami Beach and all it offers. Local bus service in to Downtown

Great location, just a few mins walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Julio. He was so helpful with the luggage and always holding the door when you’re coming and going. Our room was clean, as were the other areas of the hotel. Food at the restaurant was very good.

This is my 4th stay at this hotel since 2013. I do love being close to the beach. The beach towels and chairs used to be in the room. You have to request at the front desk now. Only 1 of my 4 days was I able to have a chair for the beach. DO NOT buy the bus/boat tour from the hotel. I have before; however, it has changed since 2017. The tour guide was constantly looking to scam tourists. You must pay the hotel $40 USD in cash; then $30 in person at the bus. The tour guide took the entire group to a bar at the bay and told everyone they could enter the bar, get a drink, use the bathroom for free, and the boat was on the other side. The receptionist at the bar kept telling us we could only enter if we were going to get a table. Even when the guide said this directly in front of her, she would contradict him. It was a total trap. The cheapest thing on the menu is a 10 oz mango juice for $9 and they expect an 18% tip. I helped 2 couples from Switzerland understand what was happening and a Spanish speaking only couple. It is 100% trap!! Plus, to get on the boat, everyone had to give their paper vouchers to the tour guide before getting on the boat. Then, you have zero proof to prove you even paid for the boat or bus tour. I was so angry! It's nothing but a cheat; I don't understand why this hotel would want to associate itself with this tour line. If you want to stay and have access to the beach, this will do the trick. Do not take any of the tour offers; it is not a good experience. I am ashamed those from other countries will return home with these same stories about the tour.
