The Betsy - South Beach

Lovely evening. Jennifer our server was very friendly and provided great service. Enjoyed the live music, singer had a gorgeous voice. My only regret is that the live music took an extended break and we could not wait for them to return from break.

Me and my family had a great time at this hotel! The food was spectacular and there was a restaurant inside the hotel that we particularly enjoyed. The library was quiet and was a nice spot to sit and read. The pool was really nice and they had some refreshing drinks up at the bar there as well. Overall this was a really nice experience and the beach was very sandy and super pretty. Be sure to pack sunscreen! Fritz was great with the kids and he helped us carry our luggage which was much appreciated

The Betsy Ross restaurant is wonderful. Had both a dinner and a breakfast there. Joanny was a friendly and fast server. She did a great job. Highly recommend their ‘ancient oats’ for breakfast and their dinners come w homemade popovers. Delicious

The service and ambiance was amazing! The octopus and shrimp cocktail were very good. Carmen and Genevieve were excellent and attentive bartenders- have the strawberry caprinha! We went when there was a pianist live and it made for an elegant evening! Perfect key lime birthday dessert too.

Our recent stay at the Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach was nothing short of incredible. What truly sets this place apart is the staff—they are exceptional in every sense. Adrian, Josh, Evan,Fritz, Juan, Robert, Cecilia (and so many others) made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. By the time we left, we were hugging the team and honestly fighting back tears—it felt like leaving family. The property itself is beautiful and full of charm. The main bar welcomes you like you’ve just walked into someone’s stunning home, and it quickly becomes a place you want to linger. The front patio overlooking Ocean Drive is perfect for people-watching, and the beach is just steps away across the street. The rooftop pool is also a highlight—peaceful, well-kept, and a great place to unwind. A few helpful notes for future guests: the beach setup doesn’t include a bar, so if you’re envisioning full beachside cocktail service, this may not be the spot. The rooftop pool, while lovely, is on the smaller side and could benefit from a bit more staffing during busy weekends. It’s fairly no-frills, but still does the job well. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Given the building’s age, you may hear some hallway noise or footsteps from above, but for us, that was a small tradeoff for the character and warmth of the space. Between the live music, the incredible soundtrack throughout the hotel, and the many dogs roaming around, the atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and completely unique. This was the perfect long weekend escape, and we cannot wait to return.
