Beautiful hotel, right across the street from the beach! Juan greeted us with the biggest smile.. Genevieve took amazing care of us at the bar - mixed a perfect martini, guided us on menu choices, put the right football game on the teev… hotel is a bit of a maze owing to its status as not one but two historic buildings, which only adds to the fun.. chairman Jonathan is a fixture in the lounge with his two pups.. overall a terrific experience - THANK YOU BETSY!!

I stayed at the Betsy with my wife at the end of October. I had stayed nearby and had wanted to stay at the Betsy after calling in for drinks on a previous vacation. The Hotel is privately owned and full of unique character and charm ,which gives you a warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you book in. The Hotel is two buildings linked together by a corridor which is called the 'Orb' which makes finding some parts a bit complicated but you soon get used to it and it adds to the endearing quirkiness of the building. We used the restaurant and bar of the hotel many times and they were excellent both for the quality of food/drink and service. One of our favourite things to do was sit on the terrace overlooking Ocean Drive and the beach ,enjoying a cocktail and watching the world go by. But the best thing about the Betsy are the staff who were all wonderful and clearly loved their jobs .I cannot remember all the names but Gennaviva in the cocktail bar and Ray ,Carlos and Joanny in the restaurant stand out. We are hoping to return next year.
