We didn’t stay here but had breakfast here. It was Great. We had Great service also. We sat outside in the morning sun. Slightly expensive. But, Every place in Miami is expensive compared to where we are from, but we would go back here.

Romantic, I didn’t stay at the hotel but I go for the food at the restaurant, I go a lot for brunch on Sundays, lunch or dinner, the oysters are the best, they have West and East coast oysters all year round, the home baked bread and butter that they serve warm, it’s exquisite, you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. Very Chic.

My stay at The Betsy: The Betsy's staff are amazing! They were friendly, accommodating, patient and always ready to answer questions or meet our needs. The manager, Ed, was attentive and clearly proud of the establishment, -as he should be. Rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy. Bed was amazing, slept like a log! I will definitely stay at The Betsy during my next visit to South Beach. And I've already recommended it to others!!!

My husband and I stayed for three nights in a Deluxe Balcony room right after Easter. Although we arrived two hours before check-in, we were greeted with a smile at the front desk and were allowed to check in early without any kind of fee. The front of the hotel and part of the lobby is occupied by the lovely LT Steak restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning. Be sure to ask in advance if you're interested in the breakfast, its kinda pricey if you have to pay out of pocket, but I was able to add complimentary breakfast to my reservation. Our room was clean, modern and spacious. It was right down the stairs from the rooftop pool, which was nice. The balcony overlooked the atrium courtyard. There is some work going on in the next building over, so there was a lot of drilling going on, which could be heard for much of the day while in our room, on the balcony and at the rooftop pool. Its not something the hotel can really do anything about and we didn't let it bother us. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and we spent a lot of time there. The drinks are outrageously expensive - over $40 for two frozen cocktails. The pool food menu, as well as room service all come from LT Steak. We ordered lunch from the pool and also to our room on another day and the food was superb, though a little pricey. The lobby bar is lovely as well, with comfy couch seating. The coffee at the Panther shop was very strong, but good. It took the girl who took my drink order almost seven minutes to type my order in, ring me up and make my latte. I was the only person in the place, so I don't know why it took so long. The courtyard pool was lovely, as well, but it was full of screaming/splashing kids when we went, so we left. We tried again at night, but the water was freezing, as the pool isn't heated. The layout of the hotel was a little confusing, especially if you're staying in the at deco wing, as you have to take the elevator to the third floor and then walk across the indoor bridge to get to the other building. We got the hang of it after a day. The beach access is another nice feature of the hotel. Included in your resort fee is access to two lounge chairs, towels and an umbrella at the beach. Finally, the new Alley pizza restaurant was a nice lunch spot. The menu is small, but I found the prices to be reasonable and the pizza was awesome. The service was extremely slow and our waiter completely forgot about our pizza. We waited almost 30 minutes after being served our salad for our pizza to arrive. The waiter apologized and offered us free dessert, which we declined as it was lunchtime and we didn't want to eat that much. He wound up giving us our iced teas on the house. Overall, I would absolutely return to The Betsy. The vibe of the hotel is very chic and fabulous. It feels very high-end, but also laid back. Highly recommended.
