The Betsy - South Beach

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and in the perfect location—everything we wanted was just a short walk away. But what truly made this place exceptional was the service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken car (thank you Fritz). We can’t wait to come back!

The Betsy was perfection. This hotel has soul and couldn’t exist anywhere but Miami Beach. Absolutely incredible customer service from every staff member, many of which had been there for 7, 10, 15+ years. From the assistant GM to the janitors, every single Betsy employee treated us like VIPs. It started with Fritz the bellman and the front desk manager. Unprompted, she and Fritz worked together to get us early access to our room. Everyone was proactive, welcoming, kind, generous, unpretentious and genuinely interested in our happiness. The food and drinks at every restaurant and bar were amazing. Gabriel R at the Alley was fantastic, and the linguini, pizza and meatballs couldn’t have been better if we were sitting in a trattoria in Tuscany. Our server, Jennifer at LT steakhouse was a joy, and the food was incredible. The coffee shop pastries and afternoon cookies were delicious, and the rooftop bar staff were friendly and fun. The decor is elegant and eclectic, yet quaint and comfortable. There was a beautiful surprise around every corner—art and books and rich wood and orchids and palms and leather and cabana stripes and live music and layered lighting in the guestrooms. This is the hotel lobby you happen upon on a trip and feel FOMO if you aren’t staying at the hotel. The Betsy is truly luxurious hospitality in action, and we are already planning our return!

We enjoyed our best drinks, best service and best ambience on our World Cup 2026 Miami vacation to support Scotland at The Betsy on South Beach. The indoor bar area is cool, sophisticated, absolutely buzzing and a fantastic colonial style deco. The drinks and particularly the service we enjoyed from all the staff were brilliant but Pam was absolutely different class and all 7 of our family would agree Pam provided us with the best service in Miami !! Thanks Pam, you are an absolute star. We are back in Miami in February 2027 and the first bar we will be visiting will definitely be The Betsy Ross.

Evens what’s very helpful, started our trip out well This guy is a big asset.

Our family came here for a quick family vacation from Palm Beach. We were immediately greeted enthusiastically from Evens, who watched over us and made sure every part of checking in was easy. He helped us find the front desk (from Collins), waited with our luggage until our room was ready, and brought it up to us with just as much enthusiasm and welcoming spirit. Our room was absolutely delightful! It accommodated our family of 4 comfortably while giving the kids and parents separate spaces for added comfort. What an amazing hotel! From the decor, to the staff, to the views, nothing was disappointing.
