There are some things that only South Beach can have. The Betsy - South Beach is one of them. This boutique hotel in Miami Beach lives up to its exclusive Ocean Drive address with 61 gorgeous rooms and suites. Heralded in the media - from Marie Claire to Condé Nast - The Betsy is a historic building that to this day maintains its original Georgian design amidst Art Deco surroundings. Beach-inspired and brilliant, the sophisticated interiors feature wooden shutters, chandeliers, and terrazzo flooring, all accented by relics from far-away lands. Your room, with its white lacquered furniture and hardwood floors, offers an ambiance created for relaxation. Modern bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers are a highlight of your haven, while in-room libraries, original artwork, and contemporary electronic connections provoke pleasant thought. Grab a beverage from your mini bar, pull the curtains, and let the South Florida sunshine - and the charm of The Betsy - wash over you.

The Betsy Hotel South Beach does NOT disappoint! I cannot express how fabulous everything was… the service (from the moment we arrived to the minute we left), the ambience, the food, the music, the charm and the quaint decor of the rooms and common areas, exquisite!. The whole experience was amazing and we can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you Betsy!

I recently stayed at The Betsy Hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food, service, and location are truly excellent—easily 5 stars. The on-site dining is definitely on the pricier side, but it’s high quality and very convenient, which made it worth it during my stay. The upper pool area is also lovely and has a great atmosphere, though it could use more consistent upkeep—there were old drink spills on the ground that hadn’t been cleaned. My main issue was with the value of the room. I paid extra for a balcony room, and while the balcony itself was fine, the overall experience didn’t match the price. The room was unusually complicated to access—you have to take two elevators, walk between buildings, and then go outside through a breezeway (almost motel-style) to reach it. That outdoor walkway sits above an alley, and the noise level was a real problem. Between trash trucks and late-night music, it was far from a restful stay. There were also moments when using the balcony wasn’t enjoyable—for example, when power washing was happening below. It left me feeling like these rooms are far more exposed to noise than others in the hotel, despite costing more. In my opinion, rooms in this location should either be priced lower or reconsidered altogether. Overall, I loved many aspects of the hotel, but I would strongly recommend being very selective about room location if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.

I came with my family today, I was a bit worried since I usually don’t like to try new drinks. However, Katherine recommended some and I loved them! It was made by Adrian who came to the table to make sure I liked the drink which was so nice of him as I didn’t expect such service! I asked for the same drink as soon as I finished! Great service from both !
