The Betsy - South Beach

We had a bachelorette weekend (40 year olds) and The Betsy was a perfect hotel and location for our stay. The service was above and beyond, particularly Genevieve! She was at the rooftop pool, the lobby bar and everywhere in between! She was lovely and very attentive to our group. George at the front desk and Paul were wonderful as well! They helped make this trip so memorable for our large group! My only concern was how long Betsy was left in the lobby. On Saturday we were in and out frequently throughout the day and she was just left in the corner. As a dog owner myself I was bothered that she was unattended too. I love her presence and the dog friendly-ness of the hotel, it was the only thing that I have to leave feedback on.

The location and aesthetics of the hotel make it a wonderful location on South beach. However, the service we received from Paul (conceire), George (front desk), Gustavo (roof top pool), and our absolute favorite Betsy member was Genevieve! They went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous and I credit them for making our weekend so memorable. By far my most favorite boutique hotel stay of all time!

We wanted an iconic Miami hotel with some history and charm, and The Betsy delivered! We booked an oceanview suite, and although the view was limited because we were on the 2nd floor, from the bedroom windows it was fun people watching and seeing the tour buses drive by to take pics of the hotel. The hotel has two lovely pools (rooftop and a lower level garden-feel), a library, neat bar where we had outstanding service from an enthusiastic younger Cuban bartender, and pizza plus delicious soft serve around the corner. It was fun walking around the rambling hotel and even being in the Orb as we passed between buildings. The only downsides: noise level from hotel entrance (we were right above so a higher room should be fine)-hotel music playing, chairs/tables being dragged around at an early hour); and the fridge being packed so full of soda we couldn't store our leftover pizza (we did ask for foil to wrap it in so it would fit, the front desk said they'd put it in their fridge but when we checked out they had thrown it away...but they apologized and made up for it when we called). If you want a unique place with some atmosphere and history this is a great place!

Our stay at The Betsy Hotel in South Beach was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional level of service. A special thank you to Juan and Fritzner for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine attention to detail made us feel welcomed and valued every step of the way. Whether it was helping with recommendations, accommodating requests, or simply providing warm and attentive service, they consistently exceeded expectations. The level of hospitality at The Betsy is truly top-tier, and Juan and Fritzner are a big reason why our stay was so special. We sincerely hope management recognizes them for the amazing job they do. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend The Betsy to anyone visiting South Beach!

We recently stayed at The Betsy for two nights the end of a cruise ahead of returning home. We arrived early morning on what happened up be my birthday and although check in was not till 4pm , we arrived at 9am due to having to be off the ship early and the hotel had no issue holding out luggage and allowing is to us the facilities We were greeted by a happy member of the team who asked if we would like a birthday drink to start the day. Once bags had been dropped we took full advantage of using the roof top pool which was very nice and a lovely set up. Were were then contacted around 11.30 as our room was ready. The room was very spacious with a nice balcony over looking the courtyard and had all we needed. The resort fee includes bottled water which was a nice touch and we were even given bottles when we left the hotel to walk through the city. We were then presented with chocolate and wine for my birthday which was a lovely thought. The hotel is situated at the quite end of Ocean Drive and is in walking distance to all you need. The atmosphere in the lobby at night is fantastic with live music and is very social. We had breakfast once at the hotel and the food was very well presented,taste and plentiful. Towards the end of the stay we had an issue with our flights being cancelled and they rearranged. I would like to thank George on reception who is a credit to the team. He went out of his way to help with a late checkout on our last day nd had already helped with holding a room for a further night as a just incase while we sorted out the flights . Nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in various hotels in Miami and have always choose differently when we return , however we can honestly say we will return to The Betsy next time we vacation here
