The Betsy - South Beach

Great pool, fabulous menu for kids and adults along with wonderful service from Darwin and Digna Maria.

This was my first trip to Miami. I brought my 18 yr old granddaughter for her graduation gift. The best part of our trip was staying at the Betsy hotel for 3 nights. Everyone on staff was so friendly & very helpful. The restaurant in house was a rare find- all the food was delicious & our waitresses- Sheila & Jennifer were awesome. We loved the live piano music during the evening hours & the opera music playing while we ate breakfast. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool. It was very relaxing. Our room was neat. & the bed was super comfortable. Rene & Ever were super friendly & remembered my name which was super impressive. We even met the owner, Jonathan & his two beautiful dogs. Fritz took care of our luggage while we hung out at the pool before we had to leave for the airport. If you are looking for a hotel where you aren’t just a #, you are an important person, a customer - that they want to make feel welcomed & appreciated. The Betsy is a class act all the way around. I will recommend it to everyone I know is traveling to Miami!

Fantastic location overlooking South Beach. Beautiful really comfortable classic hotel with great arty vibes. Live jazz every evening in the lobby bar was amazing and the bar staff were excellent. It’s high end without being snobby or stuffy and that’s really endearing. You want to stay in the bar area and be part of it all. Staff were excellent (especially bar tender lady with platinum hair & tattoos who was awesome). Super friendly. Roof top bar and pool were great too. (Cocktails extortionate) Rooms were very comfortable and our suite at the front was great to accommodate a teenager with us. We went for the World Cup and it was great fun staying at The Betsy. We extended our stay once our kids were gone. Would definitely go back. Beach absolutely beautiful. Only things for improvement are: (1) the check out process with Mark specifically on our last day was painful. He was the wrong person to be dealing with a mix up because he didn’t appear to know what was going on and was not apologetic. (2) Not enough vegan choices for food at bar & in restaurant. I would have eaten there more if there was more choice available

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Betsy Hotel in Miami. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional and every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Gabriella and George for their outstanding service—they really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The entertainment was excellent, the location on Ocean Drive is second to none, and the food was simply outstanding. Every meal was a pleasure, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm, relaxing, and first-class. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
