There are some things that only South Beach can have. The Betsy - South Beach is one of them. This boutique hotel in Miami Beach lives up to its exclusive Ocean Drive address with 61 gorgeous rooms and suites. Heralded in the media - from Marie Claire to Condé Nast - The Betsy is a historic building that to this day maintains its original Georgian design amidst Art Deco surroundings. Beach-inspired and brilliant, the sophisticated interiors feature wooden shutters, chandeliers, and terrazzo flooring, all accented by relics from far-away lands. Your room, with its white lacquered furniture and hardwood floors, offers an ambiance created for relaxation. Modern bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers are a highlight of your haven, while in-room libraries, original artwork, and contemporary electronic connections provoke pleasant thought. Grab a beverage from your mini bar, pull the curtains, and let the South Florida sunshine - and the charm of The Betsy - wash over you.

It’s the best. Had fabulous cocktails with Josh at lobby bar. He was delightful and very delicious interesting and historical drinks. We are planning for brunch today. We didn’t stay at the hotel this time— but absolutely will next year’s visit. Now we know.

We made reservations but the restaurant was so loud so we went to the bar & Josh was great! Very social & we loved his energy & vibe. We got the octopus appetizer that was delicious, refreshing & light & we wanted the fish meal but they were sold out. The drinks were strong & the vibe was great!

Loved our stay at the Betsy! Brought my mom for a mother daughter stay in south beach! Lovely hotel that felt like family from the start! George at the front desk was so nice and welcoming! You get bubbles and everyone so helpful and attentive! We had a cute little room with a balcony - beds so comfy! Morning yoga with Benjamin was amazing and he’s so amazing to start your day at 7.30 on the rooftop! Juan helped us with all our luggage (including golf clubs:) with a smile! Paul at concierge was amazing! He can make anything happen and will point you in the right direction! Overall the most amazing stay! Every time you called for anything they said “consider it done” and always delivered! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back! Love Linda

I've never stayed in this sort of hotel with my family before. I was nervous. Boutique vibes with art everywhere, and a library... it just made me feel apprehensive with a 5 and 6 year old. Would it be too stiff? Too serious? Too adult? I needn't have worried. The minute we walked in, we met Betsy and Rosa, the beautiful dogs, and it felt like a home. The food is sensational. We ate everywhere in the hotel. Breakfast was vast, and the portions were large. The French toast needs tasting. Interesting flavours, and well made. It was divine. The seafood, the SoBe award winning burger, the Alley, the salads at the pool, the snacks and the smoothies. Nothing missed for me. The ground floor pool gets lots of shade, and the roof top pool never got too busy, even though the hotel was fully booked all week. The gym is adequate for a light workout, and there's a couple of Pelotons in full working order. We met families, couples, and retirees. People from all over the world just enjoying South Beach, and the Betsy. It really appears to work for everyone. The beach was easy to get set up at, with a few beds and an umbrella included in the resort fee. Don't miss the killer coffee in the lobby from bam-9am. A massive thanks to George, Angel and Mark on reception for letting the kids constantly ask where the dogs were. Evan was always working his ass off on the door, or sorting cases. I worked a bit in the hotel one day, and saw how hard he was grafting. He also did me a solid and looked after something important for the day. Art, the concierge, knows everything you don't about Miami. Jorge and Barbara on breakfast duty were always lovely. Final shout to the pool team who were top class with F&B all week long. My kids cried all the way to the airport. They didn't want to leave. I felt the same, but ! managed to hold it together. Just. We will be back. If you're still reading this, thank you! Tripadvisor just sent me a message to say l'm at 400,000 views. If | hit a million I'lI reveal my identity. Like anybody cares lol

We had a lovely stay at The Betsy. The quiet and convenient location on South Beach is a gem hotel. The rooms are charming, and the museum of photography within the hotel is truly amazing! This is a unique stay for anyone. George Fritz at hotel checkin/out was professional and very helpful.
