The Betsy Hotel in South Beach, Miami, harkens back to a classier time. It's one of the nicest, most accommodating hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot of fine places. The room was gorgeous and clean, and the staff of as extremely helpful and attentive. It is especially rare to find this type of approach in Miami, especially South Beach, where there is quick turn over and always guests available. I would highly recommend this hotel, not only for its ambiance, but for its amazing and varied guest artist programs of music and spoken word.

Perhaps the best service I have experienced. While on The Betsy's property you rarely travel more than a few steps before experiencing some form of high level service. The property is good, but their people are their brand. My compliments on you business model, your hiring practices, and your training program.

We were celebrating a member of our party's big birthday and enjoying a few days Pre cruise stay in Miami. The hotel is split into 2 parts with colonial type rooms and Art Deco type rooms. I was pleased we'd viewed the different room types before our stay as the colonial rooms didn't appeal to us at all! It was a bit of a faff at times to get to our room as we had to get a lift to the 3rd floor, walk through to the Art Deco area and then get another lift or take the stairs to the floor we were on. The Art Deco rooms were comfortable if a tad small. On the plus side, we were welcomed by charming reception staff and offered a glass of prosecco. The bell boys were attentive at all times, holding doors open constantly. We enjoyed some wonderful live music and entertainment at night and the ambience was great. The hotel's position was wonderful being only a few yards from the beach. All the staff were helpful and courteous. A well deserved 5*!

The Betsy is the very greatest of South Beach and the antithesis of South Beach all at once. An oasis, in every sense. Incredibly classy, incredibly beautiful -- check that Southern architecture; I've gazed on few lovelier places in the dusk, their lights all lit up, against the 75-degree breeze of a Miami March evening -- an exceptionally warm and responsive staff, and, I guess, I'm repeating myself, but the grounds are just impossibly beautiful. I wanted to live there.
