Pure class
Over on business this week in Florida, last night, so had a bit of free time so went for a stroll and ended up here. Beautiful place, wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Carmen made me the best Amaretto Sour I’ve ever had, and I’m gonna have a few more for sure before I leave 😁

Stopped for a light lunch and so glad we did. First class food and service including some amazing savoury bread which we haven’t had before- gorgeous. First time in Miami and didn’t know the hotel history but certainly enjoyed it and hope to return if time allows

Disappointing
The hotel is tired in many ways and the service needs improving. My room (303) had no hot water so I had to take a cold shower my first night. I was assured I would be compensated and upgraded the next morning and instead had to repeatedly follow-up only to be moved mid morning to a smaller room with no meaningful compensation aside from a few drinks (which they actually tried to charge me for at checkout). Not the level of service I would expect at this price. 2 of the 4 elevators were out of service our entire stay, restricting access to the rooftop pool for my father with respiratory issues. I hope the hotel manages to get back on track because the location and character are still great.

Great cocktails, ambience, fantastic hospitality
Josh at the bar took great care of us and suggested staple cocktails that were incredible. Fantastic hospitality, well thought cocktails -some originals with a twist. 3rd time here for drinks at the bar and would definitely come again!
