I stayed 3 nights, everything was perfect… Until when I checked out, I got charged additional 75$. I paid THE ENTIRE stay well in advance online. Nobody told me I had to pay additional 75$, neither the reservation platform or the hotel. The lady at the reception was very rude, pretending to call a manager to see how we could solve this when she knew nothing can be done. And the last night of my stay, I had to kill 5 cockroaches coming from the bathroom sink (one big and 4 small). I didn’t want to call the reception as nothing could be done except change room but it was my last night + it was 3 in the morning and my sister was sleeping in the room. At first, I was not expecting to report that during the check out, but the unexpected additional fees got me upset so I told the rude lady. She didn’t apologize at all, blaming on me that I should’ve called the reception at 3 am. Anyway, too bad because the 3 first days were great but the last one was a total disappointment. I would not go again nor recommend to anyone. Only positive note on the last day: the luggage man was so kind, unlike the lady at the desk.

Amazing

The hotel was a welcoming oasis amid a crazy, exciting place called South Beach. The staff were amicable. The hotel was historic with all the modern comforts of home. Beautiful lobby and patio and everything!

Great small hotel

Nice small hotel to get away and relax while still being in prime south beach area. Pool was very warm and staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend as a medium budget hotel with good vibe

My wife and I just returned from a stay at The Hotel of South Beach and have vowed to return as soon as possible. The hotel was marvelous and the suite we stayed in was just beautiful. We also ate dinner at Wish on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and the food was absolutely delicious. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
