Mondrian South Beach

We have staved at Mondrian from 26th of December 2025 until 6th Januari 2026 for a family vacation. From the moment we arrived we have been greeted with a smile. Every time we saw the Security Sandrita & Marcelo they helped us in any way possible. We have been coming to Mondrian since 2015 and the reason for it is the friendly staff that are greeting us with a friendly smile like; Sandrita & Marcelo from security, and Sandor & Joshua at the door, or at the pool by Danny always helping us finding the perfect spot, or the awesome weiteres like Priscilla, Kimberly, Gigi and Ashley they are the reason for us to come back for so many years. They make us feel at home. We can truly say that due to the awesome people like those Mondrian feels like a warm blanket and they are the reason for us to come back. They all have becoming more than just a hotel staff the feel like our second home. For anyone that is looking for a relaxing friendly holiday we can recommend to stay at Mondrian it feels like a dream come true with a warm welcoming and a friendly staff and if needing anything special ask the staff and they are making it possible! service with a friendly smile. We would like to Thank; Sandrita, Marcelo, Sandor, Joshua, Danny, Gigi, Priscilla, Kimberly and Ashley for the amazing professionalism shown and warm friendly smiles and always taking the extra mile and going beyond to help us and make us feel at Home! Marcelo and Sandra best front door experience in Miami ! Came in was escorted to pool area no problem. The service was great !

Whe entering the pool it felt as i was entering a public pool , rather than the hotel pool , they kept asking if was entering alcohol witch i wasn't. . It felt a little awkward.

Wanted to order room service upon arrival at 8:45 but no one would answer the phone. Called the front desk and was told they were “backed up” to leave a number for call back. It’s now 12:38 am and no call back. Going to bed hungry is not fun!

An attractive location with beautiful views over the bay and a lovely pool area but that is where the positives end for this place. With the addition of the $51 a night resort fee this made an our stay here an expensive option, compared to other comparable hotels in Miami, for a decidedly under par experience. The rooms although very large and quiet are in need of a refurb. The cleanliness in some areas of the room left a lot to be desired. So glad I didn’t have to touch the phone next to the bed as the phrase “more germs than a toilet seat” came to mind when we saw it. We stayed 4 nights and the room was only serviced once in this time and that was only when we requested it be done at reception. So we had to make do with reusing towels and an empty shower gel dispenser for most of our stay. The shower was only ever luke warm at best and although there were two shower heads only one actually worked. There was a cheap nylon shower curtain that was a good 12 inches too short thus the floor got wet and slippery whenever we showered. An accident waiting to happen! Another issue for anyone with mobility issues is the height of the bed, it is unusually low would make getting up difficult for some. The kitchenette might have been useful if only there was a single utensil readily available (these had to be requested at reception). without the price tags. Overall the most disappointing stay we’ve had in a long time. We will not be returning.
