Absolutely wonderful stay !!! You are on south beach , but far of the congested city. The hotel have the most amazing view from the pool And staff is friendly and attentive Rooms were great ! Clean and spacious! Front desk surprised us with a welcome drink and give us great recommendations for restaurants and where to go !! We enjoy our stay !! And absolutely we will come back again !!!

My wife and I had the opportunity to have a couples massage for our Anniversary, and the overall professionalism and atmosphere was great! my Massage Therapist was Vanessa, and she was very professional and addressed my direct stress areas during my service. She was attentive and was able to provide the needed pressure to support an amazing overall Massage. If you go definitely ask for her!!!

The very good: location - it's on the quieter side of South Beach. The rooms are huge and the amenities, like one free hour of paddle boarding and a free yoga class (which was terrific) were great. The rooms are huge, which is also great, and the ones facing the bay have a beautiful view. But there were some weird aspects of this hotel. There wasn't a bureau in my room. It was a huge room with two closets but almost no drawer space. And every room had an odd painting of a young woman's head staring at the bed. Some of the paintings looked like dolled-up children. As someone else posted, they can't seem to be able to get rooms ready -- and some rooms were not made up until after eight at night. But the hotel is clean and stylish and again, it's in a great location, so the review is positive overall.

I’m staying here for a week. The construction has it’s annoyance. Carlos has gone above and beyond to be understanding. Quality staff member who cares about the customer. Now I just hope that the hotel follows through on what they promised...

I booked this hotel over a month in advance travelling in from europe. I arrived tired and jetlagged ready to immediately enjoy the room and spa facilities to find out this hotel overbooked with over 10 reservations! They just said to me very simply, we don't have room for you and we rebooked you elsewhere. This hotel was NOT cheap and we booked it going into it knowing we wanted a luxury stay with all the goods included. They wanted to shuttle us to the Shelbourne (very run down hotel with no working amenities) and only comp us for one night. The hotel director Patrick was extremely rude and aggressive. He said otherwise you can look for another hotel in miami then, like as if that is possible last notice for a reasonable price on a saturday night? He was outrageous! He did not care what I said and just kept repeating "Yah well this is the situation and we cannot change it" and I said to him I wanted both nights compensated for this at the very least and he replied "not possible, sorry" and just did not care whatsoever and was even stuck up in his attitude. I told him to make a better deal than just one night accommodation compensated because I would have to transfer to a lower rate room (no suites available at Shelbourne which I booked at Mondrian with two queen beds) and also he wanted to make me pay the higher price for the second night, I was like no way! He did NOT care. I told him I wanted to speak to his manager and finally he came back and said "fine we got you both nights compensated". Luckily the Shelbourne were lovely and super friendly. The manager here named Kyle is lovely. The hotel is super run down but that is not their fault and is currently being refurbished. At least they were friendly and tried to make me feel better and even offered me a drink. To say the least this Patrick manager at the Mondrian has a HUGE chip on his shoulder and should NOT be working in customer service. He is rude and has no people skills to deal with stressful situations. I do NOT recommend this hotel.
