We've stayed here a few times. Near the Edition Hotel. The beach is very nice. Sometimes the F&B service is slow. The hotel offers two chairs and an umbrella per room. The pool area is big enough so that people are not fighting for deck space. The restaurant was good as well. We had lunch there. We started coming here in 2021 when the rates were more realistic. Rates have skyrocketed, in my opinion.

Lovely older Hotel that was updated that has nice access to the Pool & Beach. The grounds are beautiful & well maintained. Good location away from the bustle of South Beach but a short trip away. We booked a City View Room. We were given a room in front of an elevator. We were switched to one with a view of a building undergoing demolition lol. The room was tiny & just uncomfortable at every turn, The bathroom was so narrow with no counter space & a very low bowl. There was a generic Nespresso machine that was so very loud to operate. You are charged $6 for in room bottled water if you'd like to use it to make your coffee. No natural cream to be found, only plastic pod coffeemates. There was the option of buying coffee in the lobby store for $4 a cup. Our tissues were never replenished. The Air Conditioner vent blows right over the bed. It was high season so on some days there were no loungers for us by the pool. I really wanted to love this place but did not feel valued as a patron. The food was very good but for a 4-star hotel, they charge you 5-star prices. If none of this is an issue for you & your family, and funds are not an issue, I would say go for it. The grounds were charming, beautiful & very clean.

From the moment we arrived, Fred made our stay at the Palms a wonderful experience. He assisted us with transporting our bags to our room, ensured that our room was in tip top shape before departing, and was so friendly and welcoming, telling us about all of the amenities we could enjoy during our stay.
