We stayed at The Palms Hotel & Spa from Feb, 2nd to Feb, 09 with my mother and my sister. The room (a double city view) was clean, spacious with separated toilets (very useful when your are 3 in the same room ..). The hotel offered us a bottle of wine at our arrival!! The cleaning is done everyday. The staff is very friendly and cheerful, help us in everything (some speaks French) and are always here when needed!! Again, thanks a lot to Moises, the concierge, who was very comprehensive and manage to bring back one of our passports forgotten at the Everglades (I never been so grateful)!! The breakfast is perfect, with a huge choice (no need to take the buffet when you are French!!). Special thanks to Noemi who served us every morning with a smile and good advices. You have a privilege access to the beach with beach chair and towel, and a very good service (food, drink) team at the beach. They run everywhere to fulfill all your need ! The hotel is situated at the north of Collins Avenue, but you have buses stop to lincoln road near the hotel (2 minutes walk). To sum up, our stay was perfect, the hotel have all you need for your holiday!!

Found The Palms through an internet and TA search for a quick winter get-away. The resort met all of my expectations for a relaxing beach vacation in every respect. The location is Mid-Beach, so you do need to think about transportation or enjoy walking, if you want to head to nightlife and shopping. I was not that interested in those things, so the location on the boardwalk and beach for a quiet few days was perfect. Hotel restaurant, Essensia, is excellent for every meal. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely return.

Definitely look to stay at this hotel - clean - friendly staff - easy beach access - breakfast buffet very good - nice location - comfy beds. The spa staff very friendly and accomodating - grounds beautfiul. Booked online and was not disappointed Only negative was the poolside drink and food service was slow and lots of kids when we visited so we wondered about the cleanliness of the pool which was swept while people were swimming.

Fantastic stay for my wife’s 60th. She loved it both the spa and hotel. The staff was very accommodating especially when we where placed in the wrong room. They graciously and without hassle upgraded us. Already planning our return trip!

We stayed for a long weekend at this hotel. It is a very nice 4+ hotel. There were a few minor glitches that don’t allow it to receive a five star rating but overall this is a very good resort. The minor glitches included: we arrived early and were told our room was not ready but that they would call us when it was done and that they were having housekeeping clean it immediately. After four hours I checked back and indeed the room was ready but nobody had called us or informed us. On another occasion I spoke with the concierge. He gave inaccurate information about the restaurant Saturday night and failed to book a reservation for us on Sunday night even though I tipped him. He was not around the next two days so I couldn’t speak to him about it. Finally on two occasions our food and drink orders were messed up. However, these are very minor issues compared to the overall resort. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are lush, tropical and always very clean. The pool is very nice and you have quick direct access to the beach. All of the people working at the resort were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We had a corner king-size bed with the garden view and it was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. There is very little closet space and the bathroom is small but that is to be expected with the art deco hotels along Miami Beach. They have Aveda shower products which we like. Prices for food and drink anywhere in Miami Beach are very expensive. There is a liquor store and a grocery store one block south of the resort and we utilized that to buy our own alcohol, snacks and some food. You are able to bring all this onto the beach. There is also a nice Starbucks one block away from the resort. I also went to a small diner for breakfast one block south of the hotel called The Tropical Beach Cafe. The food was great and the total price including tip was $10 each time. The resort is located on 30th St. and Collins Avenue so it is definitely in the north end of Miami Beach. This is a much quieter area and there are not a lot of restaurants nearby. We took Uber every night to South Beach for different restaurants. The cost was between $7 and $11 each way. We walked one time and it took about 30 minutes. The weather is beautiful so the walk was enjoyable. I recommend Cecconi’s restaurant for Italian. It’s outstanding. It’s about seven blocks north of the hotel. Overall this is a very nice resort and I would recommend it.
