Not as good as my previous stays
This was my third stay at The Palms Hotel & Spa. I had really enjoyed my previous stays, which is why I decided to return this summer. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the same standards as before. There are still many things I appreciate about this hotel. The common areas are beautiful and very well maintained. The pool area is lovely and the pool bar offers good value for money. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The beds are also very comfortable. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel because we found the price quite high. The main disappointment during this stay was the housekeeping in our room. The room did not feel as carefully cleaned as it had during our previous visits. We had to make specific requests for additional cleaning and for the bed linen to be changed. Even after these requests, I felt that more attention to detail would have been appreciated. The coffee machine in our room was also leaking and did not work properly. Overall, I still like The Palms and I especially appreciate the hotel’s atmosphere, common areas and friendly staff. However, based on my experience this summer, I feel that the housekeeping and room maintenance could be improved. I hope this is only temporary and that the hotel will return to the standards I experienced during my previous stays.

This was my third stay at the palms and I had a wonderful visit. Melinda at the front desk was able to accommodate an early check in, and gave me a beautiful room overlooking the Miami skyline. Excellent service by the pool and breakfast this morning. Such a lovely property. Melinda is the best!!
