I think 3.5 stars would be fitting for this hotel, so I gave it a 4. "Good" is a fair assessment of this hotel.. The hotel is nice. Rooms a little dated, but still nice. We had the oceanfront view room and it was nice and decently spacious, though not huge. There is no bathtub, shower only, which seems to be standard for most hotels. There is coffee and a kettle in room. There is a nice pool area and (near) direct access to the beach(the best part). The beach was never crowded too, so that was nice. Staff were friendly and helped with any issues immediately. The hotel is very nice and clean. Cleanliness is the number one thing in my wife's book and mine. The downside here, in my opinion, is valet-only parking for 50 + tax a night. The valets do retrieve your vehicle quickly, but for our six night stay, the parking added in $300 and tax. Maybe this is okay, but it felt a bit pricey for my liking. Had we known Miami Beach a little better, we would have used an off-site parking garage, as they are much cheaper. I did have a slight billing issue here, as well, and it is very difficult to correct. This is likely not the norm and will not be a concern for most people, but if you do have a billing issue, start on fixing it as soon as you can, as it is hard to find someone who will assist. The area is nice and there are a few restaurants and quick eateries within walking distance. For my wife and I, who are not truly into Cuban food, options were quite limited, other than pricey restaurants, Subway and a nice little bakery(served sandwiches, breakfast, coffee, sweets, etc) 3 minutes way. Starbucks is nearby too. There is a little grocery store about 3 minutes away. Not as cheap as we would have hoped, but the prices are "okay" and the selection is really good. Walking to South Beach is only about 10 minutes, so the options for eating, open up there.

Great service ! William K and Gabriel were warm and welcoming at our arrival. The hotel is beautiful and the beach is steps away. The beach staff is warm and welcoming. Shot out to Jr…. 🎉🎉 The room is clean and spacious. Certainly a place to return for relaxation and serenity.

We had a very nice stay at The Palms. The hotel is smaller, quiet, and very family-friendly, which we really appreciated during Spring Break. The beach is fantastic and was definitely the highlight of our stay. The rooms were clean and well-kept, although they are a bit on the smaller side, and the pool area is somewhat small. A couple things to be aware of: the hotel charges a $7 fee per package for receiving deliveries, which we were not told about when we asked ahead of time. We also noticed a minibar charge on our final bill for an item we did not consume. We brought both issues to the hotel’s attention, but unfortunately, they were not resolved. Overall, it’s a pleasant hotel with a great beach location, but guests may want to double-check their final bill.

Check in staff was very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Fred who helped us with our bags, elevator access, and information to make our stay even more pleasant. Beautiful hotel. Rooms are well done and well laid out.

Little gem on the beach. Everyone was wonderful. Room and beds comfy. Non-pretentious resort. Food fresh and tasty. Gabriela took great care of us on the beach!
