Pros: The hotel is aesthetically pleasing with a great pool area and a beautiful beach. The breakfasts were also of high quality with a good variety of options. Cons: Unfortunately, the stay was overshadowed by a recurring and frustrating issue: a constantly clogging toilet. As anyone traveling with a child knows, there is nothing worse than plumbing problems on vacation. The service was unacceptably slow—on one occasion, we had to wait 3 hours for maintenance to show up. However, the worst part was the front desk's attitude. When I requested a room change, I was told that "technically the toilet works, it just clogs, and since maintenance clears it, there’s no problem." They also refused a room change claiming no availability in the same category, yet failed to offer an upgrade to resolve this urgent sanitary issue. As someone who works in customer service, I find this approach pathetic. It’s easy to be professional when everything goes right, but the true quality of a hotel is measured by how they handle problems. Being dismissive of a guest's basic needs is a major red flag. I cannot recommend this place until they fix both their pipes and their staff’s mindset.

Fred was super attentive when we didn't even know we needed guidance. We were just out walking and there was a wedding we didn't want to disrupt at all. He was gracious and professional and helped us locate a quiet, relaxing spot to just sit and relax!
