We love The Palms for its remarkable consistency. The service is always great, the grounds remain lush and private, the lobby and the public areas beautiful. The rooms are on the small side unless you get a superior size, but they're clean and functional and we really appreciate the Green initiatives in place. The service on the beach is terrific, and it's a plus to have a semi-private beach in Miami, as well as umbrellas and chairs you don't have to pay for. I will say that this time, the spacing of the chairs and umbrellas was rather skimpy; everything seemed just a bit too close together. But that's a small thing. Pauline in the gift shop greeted me every morning with a smile when I got my coffee; the bartender in the Essensia lounge from Macedonia (I forget his name), remembered us from previous visits and so attentive. We know the extra pricing going in - the daily service fees, the lost towel card fees - and yes, drinks and eats are pricey, but very much in-line with everything in Miami Beach, so if you're at all familiar with the area, you're well-prepared. But to have such a lovely, semi-private beach, with grounds that make you feel secluded, not exposed, in Miami Beach is a real treat and well worth the price. Can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed our family stay at this hotel. Breakfast by the pool is lovely. The pool and grounds are beautiful and the beach couldn't be closer. We made good use of the little free tourist tram which runs out side of the hotel and takes you into the heart of the beach and Lincoln mall action. I hope to be back again soon.

Stayed for 5 nights in an ocean facing room and as the room’s face east, you have your own sunrise from the comfort of your armchair. Found room sizes a little small but enough space to put things. Liked the room decor and the lobby and restaurant areas. The area can get busy but then just 50 feet walk leads you to the well kept inviting beaches. Boardwalk runs along back of hotel. All staff were courteous and quick with service in bar and pool area. Our first time in Miami and at The Palms and would recommend and would love to revisit

We stayed at The Palms Hotel & Spa from Feb, 2nd to Feb, 09 with my mother and my sister. The room (a double city view) was clean, spacious with separated toilets (very useful when your are 3 in the same room ..). The hotel offered us a bottle of wine at our arrival!! The cleaning is done everyday. The staff is very friendly and cheerful, help us in everything (some speaks French) and are always here when needed!! Again, thanks a lot to Moises, the concierge, who was very comprehensive and manage to bring back one of our passports forgotten at the Everglades (I never been so grateful)!! The breakfast is perfect, with a huge choice (no need to take the buffet when you are French!!). Special thanks to Noemi who served us every morning with a smile and good advices. You have a privilege access to the beach with beach chair and towel, and a very good service (food, drink) team at the beach. They run everywhere to fulfill all your need ! The hotel is situated at the north of Collins Avenue, but you have buses stop to lincoln road near the hotel (2 minutes walk). To sum up, our stay was perfect, the hotel have all you need for your holiday!!

Found The Palms through an internet and TA search for a quick winter get-away. The resort met all of my expectations for a relaxing beach vacation in every respect. The location is Mid-Beach, so you do need to think about transportation or enjoy walking, if you want to head to nightlife and shopping. I was not that interested in those things, so the location on the boardwalk and beach for a quiet few days was perfect. Hotel restaurant, Essensia, is excellent for every meal. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely return.
