Lovely hotel and convenient to the Miami Convention Center
This was my second time staying at the Palms for a convention. It is a 5-6 minute ride to the convention center. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. I had dinner at Essensia two night during this stay and my meals were excellent, as was the service. My last stay was an ocean view room and was very comfortable. This time I was given a room on the street side of the building and immediately adjacent to a north facing wall of windows so there was no privacy unless my curtains were shut. The room was very clean but a little tight. I would not recommend it for two people.

Awful experience
Worst hotel ever and TERRIBLE customer service. I left behind a $300 purse in my room. I just realized this the other day and called and they said they found the purse but their policy is to only hold for 30 days and then they discard it after that length of time. I wasn’t notified or anything that they found this as a lost item in my room, even after logging it in their system and clearly having all of my personal information and spending thousands of dollars to stay there. If you want a good experience, avoid here at all costs!!!
