The Raleigh is not made for people who like the same room , the same cold design ... etc... All around will remind you that old fashion is very good. Staying at the Raleigh it's like traveling with Agatha Christie by the Orient Express ! get in the train and back to the the 50's guys. If you wanna know the names of celebrities that love the place ? check the wall of fame ... For the breakfast ask for the eggs and bacon style .. and check the potatoes .. incredible ! simple but tasty like hell ( Josh the chef is a food passionated ) That was my 50th stay here . Guess what ? was not the last one ... S

Great penthouse meeting space with rooftop terrace looking out at the ocean and city. Beautiful views, very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were very clean and the food was outstanding. All in all, a fantastic spot to host a meeting.

Great hotel directly on the beach, big pool and friendly staff. Highly recommend Amanda at the pool bar and Fernando the concierge for their outstanding service. The hotel is a impeccably clean however a bit dated. The room and bed was super comfortable with ice cold air conditioning. My wife and I will be returning.

Always a warm friendly staff, on the beautiful historic property. Only negative remark, I don't think the iconic pool is being kept up very well. A bit dirty in and around. Hope the owners/mgmt co. put some money into this.

This hotel has a superb location and lovely outside space, excluding these, it is a hotel that desperately needs a overhaul. The bedroom ceiling has black mould that has been overpainted but still visible. The TV is about 15 years old and the windows are filthy dirty. I am attaching pictures to prove what I am saying is true. An amazing historic building that is not being looked after, what a shame. There is no artwork in the rooms and a very old horrible carpet, covering a superb floor if restored. This needs investment, when a gin and tonic costs 20$ with hidden expenses and a shrimp salad is 24$ why isn't it happening, obviously greed. Unfortunately I have another 3 days here. 1 positive is the staff, very friendly and attentive.
