Enjoyed my 5 night stay of a last minute trip to Miami at The Raleigh. Had a spacious room. Loved the boutique style. Not overcrowded. Hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. My on gripes are the fee for bike rental which should be included in the hotels fees and the dirty carpet. No hotel should have stained carpet.

I choose this hotel for the location, the pool and the art deco style. Well the location is fine, near almost everything in miami beach. As we arrived we was informed the pool was under maintenance so we had ti move daily to other their properties rhe kids couln't go alone to the pool. When we booked there was no notice about maintenance on their web site. Anyway our travel agent did not tell us about the pool maintenance. I asked to move to other their properties but the answer was just no. The art deco style, well the hotel as whole need maintenance the rooms are small not well kept and cleaned.

I stayed at The Raleigh at the end of May 2017 in the Art Deco Suite of which I would book again. It is a comfortable room, and there is a dual rainshower in the bathroom! I was glad to see some familiar faces again. Elkind, like last time, was great. The staff is good overall and goes the extra mile. Thank you once again! I will return the next time I am in town!

My wife and I travelled to South Florida to celebrate her 50th birthday. We were planning on only staying here 1 night on our way through Miami headed to Key West. Hurricane Irma shut down Key West the day we were to arrive there so we decided to stay at the Raleigh in Miami Beach for a few days before we had to get out of town and flee the storm. We upgraded to a terrace suite for the few days and loved it. Very spacious and comfortable. The food at this hotel was excellent. The drinks were excellent. The service was excellent. The hotel lobby (an Art Deco delight) is amazing and transports you to another time and place. The pool (also an amazing Art Deco design) is beautiful. Hanging out on the beach in front of the hotel was lovely. Xavier, the guy who hooks you up with chairs and stuff on the beach was especially cool. As was Gabrielle, a valet. Both of these guys truly excel at excellent service and were very gracious hosts. We weren't planning on staying at this hotel more then 1 night and ended up staying 3. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. This is definitely "our" hotel!

Once again, my husband and I just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely hotel. Yes, it is quaint and needs some TLC, but that is part of its amazing charm. These qualities, combined with the most wonderful staff (Fernando, Kimberly, Elkin, Peter (bartender) and all the other front desk folks, barristas, and bell boys), go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and at home. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay (we availed ourselves of the SLS pool, see separate review), but I know it will be restored to all of its original beauty and glory. We just love this hotel and count the days until we can return. I just hope everybody will be safe during Hurricane Irma.
