Reviews for Royal Palm South Beach Miami
Do not stay here if you want a relaxing holiday with no aggro!! Didn't get the room we had initially booked and when told we were given an "upgrade" realised this room was half the size of the one we booked but still got charged the same amount. The view was poor and the window didn't open. Complained but they said they couldn't do anything until tomorrow. What rubbish. The desk staff were ridiculous and kept fobbing us off with excuses. In the end we were so tired from the flight we just crashed on the bed. Also our friends had to wait 6 hours for their room to be ready and had to leave their suitcases in our tiny room. Not what I'd call a holiday. Never again at this place.
Beach service was awesome!!! We especi enjoyed Hiram Lopez he provided excellent customer service and he was always happy to comply with any request. Hiram provided service with a smile. The hotel is very nice....the rooms are small
The Hotel is pretty quiet. Everything including the bar closes at 11. The hotel is in a nice location for walking around South Beach. The rooms are really small. Nick from the bar was nice and friendly. Probably one of the few people working at the hotel that made eye contact and greeted us. Most of the staff seems like they didn't want to be bothered.

We stayed at Royal Palm last year. So this year we had to go back again with two other friend because you can never get enough of Miami beach. Our choice of hotel was Royal Palm again. We got there around 2pm which was little early but they let us check in. There was some girl who was complaining about stuff which pretty much got everyone at the counter involved. We requested ocean view at the higher level but the front desk girl apologized saying it wasn't available. My wife felt like she could have accommodated our request but since they were all involved with other girl complaining, they probably didn't wanted to get bothered. Anyways our room was on 5th floor with a balcony and it had pretty decent ocean view which for us was amazing. We had 2 beds as requested and bathroom is always nice and clean. Room service, pool service and beach service is always a top notch. We went back again next day to request higher level floor with ocean view but it was not available. Instead manager Nicole called us on our cell phone and she apologized about it. She gave us free beach cabana for the day with 4 chairs and umbrellas for all our friends. She also gave us $30 credit for the food. We couldn't have asked for anything better then this. Free cabana right in front of the ocean with the best views. All we did was poured drinks and enjoyed all day. Thanks to Nicole and her team. We are coming back again. Lincoln road is not even 2 min walk.

This is a disgrace of a hotel. Disgrace of a management team, and a disgrace of everything that makes a hotel safe. They currently, depending on your room layout, have THICK HEAVY GLASS LAMPS hanging 6 inches above your head which are impossible to avoid hitting if you stand up and not intentionally avoid it. Depending on how fast you stand up, You could easily crack your skull wide open and spill your lifeblood all over the floor. My skull has a bump on it, and is still throbbing and I'm suffering from a headache days later. It has perhaps been one of the most painful stays in my life. Not to worry! They sent me sparkling water and fruit in order to fix the situation! 😂😂 these people are jokes.
