I had an amazing experience at the Sagamore Hotel South Beach. The cabanas were absolutely perfect—great views, comfortable setup, and an overall relaxing atmosphere that really elevated the day. The customer service was excellent all around, especially from our waiter, who was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were great, and the food was just as good—everything came out fresh and really added to the experience. A special thank you to Mr. Melvin for going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. His attention to detail and hospitality made the experience even better and ensured we truly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great beachside vibe with excellent service.

The staff was generally nice but this hotel is not appropriate for business travelers. The wifi is a disaster and so my colleague and I (on different floors, so not just one busted router) both ended up hotspotting from outside the hotel since it's old concrete walls blocked most phone signal too. Rooms were skipped by housekeeping until we called for service. My iron had plastic melted all over it from a previous guest, and after 3 requests to have another delivered, I finally had to wait at the front desk for 30 min until they brought one down. The hotel might be fine for a family looking for a bargain hotel in a great area or college kids cramming into a room, but for business travel, the Loews or Surfcomber are obvious better alternatives and in 2026, no hotel wifi should be this bad. Not an option for business travel.
