We waited an hour to be checked in because of a clerical error at their end. With hardly an apology. The one member of staff had 10 other people waiting because of this but received no support. The room is tired at best with a worn sofa, terrible beds. The whirlpool bath pumped black bits out. The traffic noise is not stopped by the misted double glazing and you can hear next doors conversation through the paper thin walls. Also there is no parking, they provide a valet service at $42 per day with no other option (this was in the small print at the bottom). We have just stayed in a hotel for a 1/4 the price in Orlando which was better and that includes breakfast which this doesn't. I wouldn't stay here again for free. Oh it is on South beach which is nice.

Spent the weekend here for a girls Trip. It was a struggle even before I landed in Miami the month before trying to get names added onto the reservation so that my sisters wouldn't be stuck waiting when they landed before me. Had to call no less then 4 times, was put on hold immediately, then even before getting a word in, I was sent through the most frustrating phone tree talking to people that weren't even on site in the hotel. Even hotels.com had a hard time getting through to them! Then, when my sister landed, Andrew (THE rudest front desk employee) told her there was no reservation in my name. When my sister called me to ask me what happened, I asked to speak to him and (in front of my sister!) I find out that he was making faces and rolling his eyes while I was talking! Turns out that they use paper records and he literally misplaced my reservation... I recognized that guy's voice also as the person who would tell me to hold immediately then put me through that phone tree, and I had heard from others staying at the hotel that he gave them attitude also. So unfriendly! I had hoped that my experience would be better once I actually got there, but the hotel is kind of dingy and has terrible lighting--it is not bright and beautiful like the pictures show! The appliances are also pretty outdated. Asked for a new radio since the one we had didn't work properly--we were told it is coming but it never came (more attitude from the front desk staff for that request!). Pros: -Cool art everywhere (although it seems like this is the motif for most of the hotels on the strip) -Great location--right on the beach and close to a lot of trendy restaurants -The company that they hired to serve you on the beach and the bartender in the hotel was very nice -Nice thick walls for noise -Not too expensive Cons: -STAFF -Poor Lighting/Drab and Dingy -Outdated/Broken appliances In conclusion, go someplace else on the strip. There are tons of hotels nearby that have the same theme and offer the same experience without you having to deal with the rude staff.

Right on the beach. Right near the best nightlife in the world. Best martinis I've ever had. And the staff was actually cordial and professional, which I don't always find in trendy hotels like this where the "scene" is so central to the experience. Amazing weekend with my old (and they are now old) college friends. Not sure when I'll get back to Miami, but when I do I will definitely head back to the Sagamore.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel was clean but very basic. Says it gives free wifi but mine never worked! The back of the hotel opens up to Miami Beach which is lovely. Wasn't keen on the pool area as could smell something like cat poop. Think it was a bit over priced for what you get but a great location as central to everything
