SLS Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida
Collins Avenue newcomer SLS Hotel South Beach tops Miami’s “It List” for its celeb-studded restaurants and nightlife, the two elements that define the SLS brand. José Andres makes his Miami debut with The Bazaar, and acclaimed sushi chef Katsua Uechi brings a second high-profile restaurant to the mix. Cabanas at the beachfront club Hyde Beach are almost as sultry as the rooms – designer Philippe Starck modeled them like a modern-day boudoir of Louis XV’s mistress, with French furniture and mirrored ceilings.
The Atlantic Ocean glitters right out your window, but you might have a tough time deciding whether to leave your sumptuous room. Order room service with champagne for breakfast. Don a Valentino swimsuit and saunter through the halls of this former Art Deco palace. Claim a poolside lounge chair and order a Burning Mango cocktail made with Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, Serrano pepper and mango juice.

Reviews for SLS Hotel South Beach
It was a little slow with getting our room ready on arrival but we were upgraded the next night stay thanks to Gary (manager)! We barely had to leave this hotel because they had everything to offer at this place; sun, beach, pool, food and nightlife. We will be back next month!

Super bar with live band and very entertaining. Had a good crowd and service. Great hangout with a great choice of beverages.reservations a must for a table, else hanging at the bars not too bad. A luxurious upmarket bar.

Fernando (concierge) and Maria (bartendress during the afternoon) both deserve special mention...they were outstanding. Had a glorious getaway weekend here. Drinks/food amazing...highly recommend the SLS.

Our third annual visit to South Beach, but our first to the SLS. Two very very slow elevators. A room with a view of he ocean blocked by a massive sofa with a high back covering much of the window when you look out the window from the bed. Why did we look out the window from the bed? Because when you sit in the sofa, the ocean is behind you. One chair and a 18 inch square table that can barely hold a laptop, much less any papers. A rack to hang clothes on rather than a closet. A toilet seat that would not remain up. Great deal for a female, but not for a male. $12.00 cup of tea!!!! Insufficient lounges and chairs at the pool. Enough.

i would not recommend SLS hotel. took 3 hours to get a bucket of ice , messed up our dinner reservations, rooms are very small , drunk passed out people in lobby entrance and pool area. terrible crowd at their saturday pool party. sunday 800a loud music in room next door full blast ! 25 minutes to get my car from valet and to complete the experience they stole my car phone charger from the car ! unbelievable ! not a good value at all ! this is not a luxury experience
