The pool party at this place is truly a one of a kind, sensory overload experience. Sights and sounds beyond imagine, all set in background of the SLS Hotel. An annual getaway for my friends and me consistently turns into a who's who or familiar faces at the SLS Pool - this staff retention is truly a key to making this party amazing. Familiar smiling faces always welcome you to the opulence. Not one party goes by without the white glove treatment of Nicole David. Her client facing approach is invaluable to an organization and should not be taken lightly. She could teach a course on customer relations. This year made another new friend from the staff, Euromar, aka Yomar, not only greeted us with a smile but consistently ensured we were in good spirits and had anything and everything we could need. High quality staff are a main reason this party is top notch.

I am staying here in 2 weeks and have tried to contact the hotel on numerous occasions beforehand with a few questions/ requests NO ONE is getting back to my emails (I have sent 5 now, everyone I have spoken with on the phone is rude and hung up/ put me on hold for 20 minutes/ said they will put me through to someone else and just hung up. I have stayed in top hotels around the world and have never experienced attitude and bad service like this, it sounds like I am speaking with disgruntled teenagers and I am seriously considering changing my hotel.

Beautiful room, excellent ammenities, clean. Good staff. Daily USD 35 resort fee does not include umbrella! If you need one, you have to pay an extra USD 20. Abusive. Be careful because they hold pool parties on sundays...if you don't want noite, avoid it.

I just completed a entire week at the SLS hotel in South Beach. Don't waste your time or money. I have had the fortune of staying at many hotels in Miami south beach over the last four years visiting my son who lives there. This experience at the SLS was the worst of all. First the rooms are small and accommodations like closets, hangers, pillows are not the best. If you want water after a walk in the 95' heat or after dinner don't expect any generosity. There were three of us staying and The hotel only said they had one water? Really? Go to Costco and buy water for your clientele. Our hair dryer was broken, our toilet was clogged and the air conditioning broke twice. The second time is when the engineer replaced the filter and ran the system until it worked. When I spoke to the manager she offered me two cocktails. I told her my children were underage. She then offered two appetizers. I asked which one of us ( we were a party of three) would not get an appetizer. She hesitantly offered three. Over the course of a week I had to call housekeeping every day for missing items after cleaning; hand towels, glasses and even toilet paper!!! This is unacceptable. If you want to feel like you are babysitting go here. If you want to feel more stressed than you did at home before your vacation. Go here. There will be plenty of situations where you will have to micromanage your vacation.
