SLS Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida
Collins Avenue newcomer SLS Hotel South Beach tops Miami’s “It List” for its celeb-studded restaurants and nightlife, the two elements that define the SLS brand. Josť Andres makes his Miami debut with The Bazaar, and acclaimed sushi chef Katsua Uechi brings a second high-profile restaurant to the mix. Cabanas at the beachfront club Hyde Beach are almost as sultry as the rooms – designer Philippe Starck modeled them like a modern-day boudoir of Louis XV’s mistress, with French furniture and mirrored ceilings.
The Atlantic Ocean glitters right out your window, but you might have a tough time deciding whether to leave your sumptuous room. Order room service with champagne for breakfast. Don a Valentino swimsuit and saunter through the halls of this former Art Deco palace. Claim a poolside lounge chair and order a Burning Mango cocktail made with Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, Serrano pepper and mango juice.

Reviews for SLS Hotel South Beach
A friend recommended this place for a nice night out and it was great. The atmosphere was so romantic and the drinks top notch . Iliana was our waitress and that girl was on point. She was so friendly and knowledgeable, that we went back a few more times and asked for her over and over again. Thanks Iliana for making us feel special ‚̧ԳŹÔłŹ
Awesome weekend with my wife at the SLS The hotel was great, perfect location, excellent service. Beach service was outstanding. And the partying was incredible especially the pool party Saturday afternoon, CRAZY FUN!!!

We loved our stay at the SLS - it's a great smaller-sized hotel that offers everything you could need or want for a great stay in South Beach. Our room was small but well equipped, the bed was super comfortable. The hotel itself is super stylish and has great vibes - great food and great drinks and a cool energy. Our favorite thing about the SLS was the great staff though. At the beach, PJ was so nice and conscientious and hooked us up with chairs and towels and Franklin was a truly awesome server. At the pool, Louis and Daniel helped us out with everything we could have needed our wanted and made us feel super welcome and taken care of. Great warmth and hospitality. We will definitely be back!

To say my experience with The SLS South Beach was disappointing would be an understatement. The nightmare of my stay started prior to arrival when someone posed as a manager over the phone, only to find out there was no one who worked there by that name and obviously was not a manager. Upon check in, Angie (front desk) told me I had been upgraded from a King City View room to a Corner Ocean View. We discussed that the corner room was much bigger and nicer. Once I got off the elevator I quickly realized that the room was not a corner room and also did not have a King size bed, but two doubles instead. I went back downstairs and spoke to Yamira (Manager) who proceeded to tell me Angie never told me I was in a corner room, essentially calling me a liar, then brought Angie back out to lie to my face and tell me that she never said anything about a corner room. This was just the beginning of a horrendous customer service experience. One my last day I asked for a late check out. I was staying there for a wedding and brunch was going to take place at the time normal check out is (11am). I was told this was unavailable and accepted this. Shortly after I received a call telling me I could have a late check out but with an attitude. I asked what time I could stay until and the response was "well we really shouldn't be doing this, but I guess 12:30-1pm would be fine". I brought all of my luggage and clothes downstairs and asked valet to please put it in my car. About 40 minutes later, it started to rain. I walked out to valet, where I found my suitcase, my hanging clothes (tux, sports jacket, dress shirts), and a shoebox completely soaking wet. When I asked why it hadn't been put in my car yet, I was told it is because it was not a priority and they had people checking out. To sum up my whole experience, the service is absolutely horrendous. The hotel is nice, but the rooms are very small. I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other options on South Beach.

April 15th my fiancé took me to Miami for my 25th birthday. We go often but this was our first time staying at the SLS. From check in to check out, the service was perfect. Not only that but Claudia helped my fiancé set up a HUGE surprise for me... we went to check in a little early so we went to the beach while waiting for our room to be ready. Once it was ready we went up and SURPRISE- there were gold balloons filling the room, numbered 25 balloons and a bottle of champagne. Without my knowing, Claudia set up the perfect room for my birthday! I could not thank her enough, it made my birthday so special, one that I will NEVER forget! Thank you Claudia and the SLS staff for making my birthday weekend stay an amazing one!
