SLS Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida
Collins Avenue newcomer SLS Hotel South Beach tops Miami’s “It List” for its celeb-studded restaurants and nightlife, the two elements that define the SLS brand. José Andres makes his Miami debut with The Bazaar, and acclaimed sushi chef Katsua Uechi brings a second high-profile restaurant to the mix. Cabanas at the beachfront club Hyde Beach are almost as sultry as the rooms – designer Philippe Starck modeled them like a modern-day boudoir of Louis XV’s mistress, with French furniture and mirrored ceilings.
The Atlantic Ocean glitters right out your window, but you might have a tough time deciding whether to leave your sumptuous room. Order room service with champagne for breakfast. Don a Valentino swimsuit and saunter through the halls of this former Art Deco palace. Claim a poolside lounge chair and order a Burning Mango cocktail made with Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, Serrano pepper and mango juice.

Reviews for SLS Hotel South Beach
Went to Hyde beach this Saturday with my 3 friends and had a blast! Ended up having our own party with bride to be from the neighbor bed and ended up popping a 3L bottle of champagne and smoking cigars a. Special thanks to Marine that took great care of us and kept the flow going. A must do if in Miami.
Visited Hyde a few weeks ago with my new fiance while waiting south beach from nyc. At first wasn't really feeling the atmosphere but once we were situated, our waitress Mariel, changed the entire experience. She was very attentive and helpful with any and all of our requests. Completely changed the vibe of the place for us. Thank you for making it an unforgettable experience for me and my wife to be! Can't wait to be back to try the rest of the things she recommended!

So I will start by saying that I have been to SLS pool party many times and have always have the most epic, memorable experience. But those already high expectations were exceeded his past weekend.I was blown away by the Hospitality and attentiveness that everyone showed us. Our waitress Marine was incredible! She could not have been any more awesome!she became family by the end of the night. So if you go to SLS and you want the best time, request her as your waitress, but make sure you take care of her, because she is the truth! :)

Stayed there for business for few nights. Overall positive experience. Rooms - quite small, but clean and cosy. If you have the chance book a room with a view to the Ocean. They could do with a little bit of storage room. Front desk - starting from front desk personnel to concierge, everyone was very nice and helpful. Definitely 5 starts rating! Restaurants - Food is very delicious and the chefs know what they are doing. Service - the service in the Japanese restaurant was extremely poor. Starter arrived before drinks, by the time I was finished with it, the main course for my friend came and her starter was missing. I waited then for my main for quite some time, side dish was forgotten. Took ages to pay the bill. The only thing that the manager do was to remove from the bill the two items that we didn't consume. We had to wait for a very long time for every single thing that we needed to order or ask for additional water. It was very terrible experience and the prices are on the very high end for the service provided. Waiters in general are not very attentive, especially if they see you are e female, which was a shame. The only waiter that was very good was the gentleman who was serving breakfast. Very polite and gave us good recommendations. The first day there was no staff for the breakfast, waited for 5 mins to get a drink and went to the bar to grab a glass of juice, where finally a grumpy man showed up and shook his head disapprovingly. Overall service is not at its best for such hotel and really made us find other places nearby where we could enjoy food and drink. It was a shame as the hotel is actually nice! Swimming pool was good and the pool parties seemed ok. Not sure whether I would visit again.

When planning my bachelorette party, Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach was on top of my list!! I reached out to Hyde Beach and explained to them I was planning to come with 12 of my best girlfriends and they were beyond accommodating, they took care of everything! When we arrived we definitely got the royal treatment, we were seated right in front of the pool at one of the cabanas! We were greeted by Mariel, she was SO sweet and SO amazing!! She made sure we all had the best time of our lives!! She kept checking in on our group to make sure we were okay! I had the best bachelorette party EVER!! My girlfriends and I look back and talk about how amazing it was, we definitely want to go back! If you’re planning on going, GO & ask for Mariel, she’s the absolute best!
