SLS Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida

Collins Avenue newcomer SLS Hotel South Beach tops Miami’s “It List” for its celeb-studded restaurants and nightlife, the two elements that define the SLS brand. José Andres makes his Miami debut with The Bazaar, and acclaimed sushi chef Katsua Uechi brings a second high-profile restaurant to the mix. Cabanas at the beachfront club Hyde Beach are almost as sultry as the rooms – designer Philippe Starck modeled them like a modern-day boudoir of Louis XV’s mistress, with French furniture and mirrored ceilings.

The Atlantic Ocean glitters right out your window, but you might have a tough time deciding whether to leave your sumptuous room. Order room service with champagne for breakfast. Don a Valentino swimsuit and saunter through the halls of this former Art Deco palace. Claim a poolside lounge chair and order a Burning Mango cocktail made with Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, Serrano pepper and mango juice.

Truly a good room. The room had everything I needed and when I need service like a bucket of ice it was done promptly. The room also had a great view, awesome pool, and great personnel. My only complaint is that I was so busy I spent little time in the room.

My friend and I recently took a Memorial Day trip to South Beach and weren't really sure what to expect as we had never stayed at an SLS hotel before. We arrived at 6:30am in a beautiful lobby and we were greeted by Javier at the front desk whom was extremely chipper at such an early hour. He provided us with an unexpected and greatly appreciated, early check in. Javie was very helpful in directing us to our room and was very thorough in explaining the policies and amenities of the hotel. All throughout our 5 day stay we were pleased with all of the staff we encountered, the housekeeping attendants were very polite and courteous always making certain that we knew they were near and available. The photo booth in the elevator area was great (and probably captured a few moments we might want to forget lol) Two other shining stars were Natalia, whom ALWAYS seemed to be there and available to answer questions and replace room keys. As well as, Sara whom was very professional and helpful, especially on the last afternoon of our trip...assisting with check out and secure luggage storage as we had a late flight. I would highly recommend this hotel, as the stay was BEYOND what we expected. The location is central to the beach, nightlife and shopping, the lobby, bar areas, pool, cabana club and rooms are aesthetically pleasing and TBH most of the staff are eye candy but most of all welcoming and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay the best possible!!! Down side was they charged me for two sodas I never ordered but hey, it is what it is!!

This place is so much fun, nonstop entertainment! The hotel is very chic and the staff is extremely warm and helpful, especially Melvin! He even found some superglue for me! The location is excellent, just a short walk to Ocean Drive and much more! The Saturday pool party is off the charts and the waitstaff is beautiful and friendly! We had the best final breakfast at The Bizarre restaurant, fluffy egg-white omelette to die for! A must stay if your planning a trip to South Beach!

My wife spent a long weekend here to enjoy the pool parties and South Beach fun. We have stayed here several times before. Due to our own fault we ended up in probably the smallest room in the hotel. Way too small for two people. The second day we spoke to Yomaira Munive in guest services. Within the hour she had us in a much nicer room and made sure we were happy. We went on to spend a fortune at the pool and loved every minute of it. (See review of Hyde Beach) . This is the hotel to stay at if you want to be close to the party. The staff wants to make sure you treated well and want to return. Which we will!

The hotel was incredible and the staff impeccable. They were so helpful, friendly and kind. Our room overlooked Miami Beach and it was just beautiful. The double headed shower was a dream! In walking distance of everything, I couldn't think of a better place to stay.
