Fabulous hotel with gorgeous dining, main pool, and bar/club at 2nd pool.The food and drinks are excellent and the night atmosphere is electric and warm from the Miami heat. Rooms can be smallish but fine for 2-3 nights. The Penthouse on the other hand is ridiculous, with massive sun deck, huge living room, gorgeous bathrooms, lovely bathtub in massive bedroom, and private kitchen and bar. Best hotel penthouse in Southbeach. The beach service is great, nicely done, but menu is limited. Delano is best menu. Their bar/kitchen is also farther from beach, so longer wait times. This hotel is a massive party hotel for younger crowd, and great fun to visit, but relaxation is hard to find here. The pool is too crowded for hotel guests to find a chair. The 2nd pool is not part of the hotel, but a beach club, requiring admittance wait. At night it turns into a bar/dance club. Beautiful place for drinks under the trees with artsy outdoor furniture.

Concierge and Reservations Staff were truly exceptional in coordinating plans for a week stay as my wife and I celebrate our anniversary. My husband and I visited SLS HOTEL South Beach for my birthday. We had a wonderful stay. It is a luxurious hotel and the staff made us feel welcome upon entering. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. I celebrated my birthday on the Monday before we arrived and I mentioned it to Sarah as we checked in which was effortless. On Tuesday, we went out to dinner, when we returned to our room that evening, we were surprised with a bottle of wine, 2 glasses and a hand written note from Sarah. It was thoughtful and a pleasant surprise. The restaurants on site, serve excellent food. I had brussell sprouts, the best I've ever eaten. Our stay at SLS will always be remembered.
The SLS was amazing! The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful & kind, and the location is perfect! I will definitely return to the resort. It is also helpful that the hotel has a car service that if available, will drive you a short distance at no charge.

Could not have had a better time. The SLS has the friendliest staff and the best amenities for a weekend getaway with friends. Will definitely be returning soon! From the moment we checked in, we were encountering the nicest people at the front desk, then at Hyde (admission is free if you're a hotel guest) we could not have had a better time. The nest morning when we checked out it was truly the easiest and nicest process ever, they took the time to know our names and genuinely wanted to answers every single question we had about the hotel. So great!
