My local friend had a membership and with a day off I decided to join him at the Soho House for a few pre dinner cocktails. The location was amazing, right on the beach. Even with the usual mid afternoon rain the atmosphere stay relaxed and fun. The staff and service was first class. A great afternoon hang

AS members of Soho House and visited most of the other Soho House - Miami Soho Beach House seemed quirked tired and a mix of decor that didn’t really work. Maybe it was the aftermath of the hurricane but there is trending chic and tatty and I’m not sure they got it right. The restaurant was excellent, but it was a quite a way off the beaten track and out of town - which required a $ 20 taxi ride to get anywhere. The pool was out of action and the beach hut - the access to the beach was great although it was so packed at the weekend you lost that Soho house individual feel. The splash pool was dominated by the DJ who played the music so loud that families left the area. One got the feeling that this was a hotel for the members rather than guests - although we were both. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t rush back.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had a great time. The room was very spacious but felt a little damp leaving it with a strange smell. It would be so much better if the air con unit was not directly above your pillows! We had breakfast and brunch at the place most days and the weekend brunch is truly fabulous. Plenty of selection with a complimentary prosecco all thrown in. We ate in the restaurant on the first night which was good but nothing too special.

I decided to spend my birthday at Soho Beach House and must say that their hospitality was beyond! Special thanks to property manager Patrick for making it unforgettable, as well as membership manager Michael and the rest of the team: housekeeping that was on point, beach attendants and servers that are extremely hard working and always make sure we have the best time! Thank you all again!

Come on gang! I have been here a couple times for lunch and drinks and really liked everything. But for a server, according to a bar staff member, to leave because he was upset about the hurricane impacted business is something else. I hope a manager reaches out to me. On a positive note, the band was excellent and I will be back.
