The Villa Casa Casuarina

The place was stunning. Our room was simply breathtaking overlooking the pool. The only downfall was the stairs and no elevator where we stayed so it was hard to walk with heels on. The food was outstanding especially the breakfast the next morning. It was the best I have ever had and the fruit very fresh. It was a good value the noise level was high until about 11 pm. I would stay there again but request a lower floor. The only negative was the valet we had to drive blocks since they had the road blocked off and to pick up the car we had to walk blocks instead of in front of the hotel. It was a bit frustrating since we did not know this ahead of time. Had we been text or called it would have saved alot of frustration on how to proceed when we arrived.

What a wonderful experience and chance to spoil ourselves. Make sure you check out the observatory. The pool is stunning with is 24k mosaic tiles and got a sunrise swim with breakfast and dinner by the pool. Service was wonderful! The food was wonderful-- try the chocolate bomb 💣! Spending the night for all the extras was worth it.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Casuarina (the Versace Mansion). We stayed in Il Mar, Gianni’s Suite, and Venus, and every room was beautiful and spotless. You can really feel the history of the place, but it still feels comfortable and well taken care of. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so kind and genuinely helpful the whole time. Talia was especially amazing—super caring and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Also, Luis and Juan at the front were a lifesaver with our luggage. They made everything so easy and stress-free. Overall, just an amazing experience. Definitely one of those places that feels special the entire time you’re there.

Our stay at the Versace Mansion was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have had, and we have stayed at many luxury properties over the years. Villa Casa Casuarina, as the mansion is formally known, is a unique landmark in South Beach, set along a beautifully preserved stretch of Art Deco architecture on Ocean Drive. We stayed in the Azure Suite on the second floor, and it was every bit as stunning as the photos suggest. The room felt luxurious, visually rich, and completely one of a kind. We also dined at Gianni’s twice and loved the fashionable, lively atmosphere that makes the property feel so iconic and distinctly Versace. What made the stay especially memorable was the staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely cared for, and their warmth and attentiveness elevated the entire experience. Special thanks to the wonderful team, who also manage Hotel Victor next door: Pino — Thank you for making our late-night check-in feel so smooth and welcoming. We especially appreciated the bottle of champagne as a welcome gift. Talia — You truly made our stay special from beginning to end. Your smile, energy, and willingness to help with anything we needed reflected the highest level of hospitality. Fiama — You and Talia made a fantastic team. It was impressive to see such consistent care and presence throughout the day. Dumese — Thank you for patiently answering guests’ questions and for recommending the excellent seafood restaurant down the street. Mirel — Thank you for ending our stay on such a high note by helping us get the best table at Gianni’s on our final night. A beautiful property is one thing, but exceptional people are what make a stay unforgettable. We left with wonderful memories and would gladly return.
