The Villa Casa Casuarina, the former home of Gianni Versace, has been transformed into an elegant Miami Beach retreat. Built in 1930, the mansion has the designer's touch throughout, and is a mix of Spanish and Italian influences coupled with opulent details. The Ocean Drive manor-turned-boutique-hotel features just 10 suites showcasing rich and vibrant hues with only the finest of furnishings displayed. Lounge by the legendary mosaic pool or slip behind the curtain of a luxury beachfront cabana. Sunset cocktails are best enjoyed in the Observatory lounge overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean. Casa Casuarina also features a trio of sultry lounges including one for cigar aficionados. Guests can enjoy culinary specialties atop the upper terrace with views of the tropical gardens. The acclaimed fine dining establishment Loftin's 1116 Ocean, with its detailed stone mosaic, adds an element of drama to your meals. Ocean Dive not ocean drive
At great expense we stayed in one of the 2nd floor suites. It rained and the rain water gushed into the room and over most of our luggage. No one would speak with us and the next night the same thing happened. They [the management] eventually moved us but refused to speak with us regarding compensation. The manager kept us waiting all day, on the last day of our holiday. So, after getting new luggage for the wet clothing/luggage and waiting to speak with the manager - who didn’t appear, we left at 6pm. It is no doubt a fantastic building, created by a very gifted man however this shambolic money making crew are not maintaining it and are letting it go to wreck and ruin. It should be cherished and preserved. Instead it is being used as a money making machine that is not in-keeping with man, the designer, the location or the building itself in my opinion. I have wanted to stay here since being very young and I was sorely disappointed.

Great Experience
Our time at the Versace Mansion was amazing from start to finish. The setting is breathtaking and filled with character, and every corner feels like a work of art. The restaurant was exceptional, and we were seated by the pool for dinner with a wonderful view that made the evening feel even more special. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff went above and beyond, especially helping carry our bags up and down from the room, which made everything feel effortless. Staying here felt both luxurious and welcoming, and I can’t wait to return.

Magical Stay in the Venus Suite
We had a truly wonderful stay in the Venus suite. The staff is incredibly attentive and always go above and beyond to truly make you feel at home. I also want to give a special thanks to Isabella for making sure we had the best stay possible. Looking forward to coming back!
