My husband daughter and I stayed here one night before our cruise and it was pure perfection. The room and the view were fantastic! Concierge breakfast was amazing and we were kind of sad we only stayed one night! Only 5 minutes by car to the Port and the outside pool is amazing with the view. Will definitely stay again in the future:)

We bookended a cruise out of Miami at the JW Marriott and could not have had a better time. Despite what others may say, it is very close to the cruise port. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely. Very modern with great amenities and one of the most comfortable beds I've every slept on in my life. Several dining options exist at the hotel ranging from casual to more formal. While not on the beach, it does have a very nice pool area, connected to other recreational areas (virtual bowling, game rooms). The hotel is in a great location in downtown Miami. It is walking distance to many points of interest including restaurants, a CVS and a Whole Foods. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did the concierge accommodate our early check-in, but our room was upgraded and we were given tickets for a free round drinks at one of the hotel bars. I think I will only stay here when visiting downtown Miami.

This hotel is located in downtown Miami and is located 1 block from the water. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. You can walk down to the canal and see some very nice yachts and there are some decent restaurants in walking distance. It's about a 15 minute drive to South Beach, if you want to work on your tan.

We stayed at this hotel 2 other times this year, for business and for an Adele concert. It was a great location and clean. Service is not their thing. However, this last trip was underwhelming and disappointing. There was a rap 3 day festival in town and the staff was completely disrespectful and dismissive of our group. Requests were treated with disdain. Fire alarms going off, partying next door. No response from the front desk. If I can't sleep, I shouldn't be in your hotel. I am out all day and pay hundreds of dollars to sleep and shower. At one point, my adult daughter called down to the front and they HUNG UP on her after telling her to come down to get help. There are TOO many hotels to chose from. Chose another...

This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was pretty high up and had a great view. It was a corner room with huge windows. Bathroom was really nice also. Didn't watch tv but did have a few drinks in the bar. The bed was great for all of your activities. It was $377 for the room we had.
